#846443 SI/Miles turned on the PC players who made this game. Per steam alone PC playerss peak at 89k with diehards rangin more Consoles together with portables register at 20 to 30k.

I'm Long-time PC player here (thousands of hours across the series, from FM04 betas to grinding FM24 holiday tests on dual monitors). Absolutely buzzing for the Unity glow-up—smoother sims, better mods, all that jazz could make this the GOAT edition. But man, this beta's UI is terribly its exhausting, and it's got me worried we're losing that deep-dive immersion that hooked us in the first place. Feels like the mouse/keyboard flow's taken a backseat to console-friendly pops and widgets, turning what should be a seamless strategy sesh into menu wrestling. I get engines need teething time, but as a guy who lives for those 2000+ hour saves, it's jarring.
Quick reality check from the numbers floating around: FM24 hit over 89k peak concurrent on PC alone via Steam, with die-hards averaging those marathon sessions because we can macro our setups around it—endless tabs, multi-screens, the works. Consoles? Solid crowd, but peaks hovered around 20-30k combined across Xbox/PS in past releases, and that's spread thin. Forums are full of anecdotes backing it: PC folks log 10x the hours 'cause it's our playground. (Shoutout that console KBM support, though—love seeing PS5/Xbox players bridging the gap with mice for precision clicks; makes the family more inclusive without forcing controllers.)
Not saying ditch the console push—it's smart growth—but if SI's data mirrors this (and I bet it does), leaning harder on PC polish could keep the core firing on all cylinders. Hotfix 26.0.0 helped with some freezes, but a dedicated mouse nav tweak? Game-changer. What's the plan post-launch—more beta waves or a UI options menu for us keyboard purists?
Cheers for listening—let's make FM26 the one we all tattoo on our souls. What's everyone else's setup looking like? And might I add that I think it is now possible for the Playstaytion and Xbox to use a mouse and keyboard now for this game. Your gonna kill this game with this UI. You've shot yourselves in the foot. Miles this game is like last December when you were playing at home and it screamed (NOT FUN). If you dont fix the UI you've got a massive problem on your hands and you can say you didnt turn on the PC family who built your game with there play time, but in reality you did. There is nothing fun about what we are going through at this moment and it is the low point of FM's history imho. People will stop playing this by Jan 1st if its not fixed or possibly sooner. You should have stuck with the PC family and moved slower into the other systems. The big guys arnt even streaming like the would normally be doing on twitch. Why, because the games been sucked of all the fun it used to be. The immersion has been blown to pieces in a widget boxes that just do not work.

#840746 FM26 Match Preview Video + Analysis

They got the hard part done imho and now im sure there will be some polishing licensees added and general improvements. Im sure they will update afterwards to till after the Jan Deadline. I will be happy to play with FM26 and support them while they make more improvements for FM27. What they did wasn't easy. And Miles stating it just wasn't fun says alot about what condition the game was in. He plays just like us, Im willing to cut them some slack. And we should be supporting the women's game. Over here in the USA the womens game is more supported then the mens. Not to mention there are girls who play and love this game, for them alone as fellow gamers we should be standing by them. Not to mention its a whiole new market for the game which is more important for down the road, the more markets this game reaches hte more we will geet in the long run.. Yeah FM26 might not be exactly what we hoped for but damn be HAPPY it wasnt to that long ago that we wern't even sure we would get it. So lets give them some slack and back them like we back our teams, at least thats what I plan to do. I can't wait and am as excited as I was since I started playing way back in 2016. Thats decently far back for a US Person.
