Absolutely not. Thunderstorms are a late spring, early autumn phenomenon.

Who cares? FFP is nothing but a protectionist measure from big clubs anyway.

No idea if Remi Garde is any good, seemed to transform Lyon from title winners to Europa League regulars in a short space of time, and Lyon seem to have kicked on without him. But at least he seems to want the job, rather than fucking about like de Boer. Don't know why it's taking so long though.

The decline of Lyon was driven by economics, not coaching. The costs of the new stadium they're building and missing the Champions League a couple of years in a row meant that they couldn't pay the wages they used to, which predictably led to even worse performances on the pitch.

The worlds went fucking mad over the past month.

Nah.

Shit like this will happen from time to time and it has been going on for a very long time. It's the unfortunate cost of a free and open society.

(although he did go down on her, can't see him doing that from his own accord?)

Because no man would ever wish to perform oral sex on a woman by his own will.

Personally i'd go for Ajax if they offered. Proven record of taking in youngsters and helping them on to the next level.

I don't think Ajax are willing to pay whatever Strømsgodset want in compensation, otherwise I'd see it as the ideal move for him as well.

Also, wouldn't purposely driving whilst knowing you're drunk be criminal intent?

For drunk-driving perhaps, not for "causing death by dangerous driving". If there was criminal intent you'd be charged with murder.

Hughes and McCormick also committed crimes of negligence, while their crimes had a deadly outcome, they did not have any criminal intent. Rape on the other hand is a crime that requires criminal intent.

There's definitely cause for debate, but it's entirely irrelevant as to whether a football club should employ Ched Evans or not. The reality is that he is a convicted rapist, any prospective employer has to make decisions based on that reality, regardless of any perceived holes in the conviction. Guilt or innocence are matters for the courts to decide, not football clubs.

As a fan, I would never want Ched Evans playing for my football club.

I loved it when I saw in in the cinema three months ago. Especially impressive as it was the feature film début for both the director and the screenwriter.

Nightcrawler

A film centred on a psychopath who isn't a serial killer, don't see that very often. Pretty good, Gyllenhaal is really creepy as the lead character.

Producer, apparently. Doesn't surprise me as he got started making skateboarding films.

There's absolutely no argument that Gerrard is the best Premier League player of all time.

I am sure Liverpool fans could come up with some sort of justification.

Still haven't seen some 2014 films that I want to and there's a few films I really need to watch a second time before I form a final opinion so it'll be a couple of weeks before I dare do a top 10 list for 2014 releases, instead I'll do a top 3 of the best films I've seen for the first time this year, in no particular order:

Amour (2012) dir. Michael Haneke

Shows love from a different perspective than that typically seen in fiction, depicting the struggles of an elderly couple after the wife suffers a stroke. A film that is both very sweet and thoroughly depressing.

Her (2013) dir. Spike Jonze

A man who writes other people's intimate letters for a living falls in love with an intelligent operating system, and it's exactly as weird as it sounds.

Blue is the Warmest Colour (2013) dir. Abdellatif Kechiche

Probably the best coming-of-age film that I have seen, shows the transformation of young Adèle from teen-aged girl to a woman through her passionate lesbian relationship with a blue-haired painter.
