Would be a good suggestion if not for the fact he's already employed by a much bigger and more ambitious club than Spurs.

The 30 games suspected of having been fixed.
Yeah, just like the Finns, Hungarians, Norwegians, Germans, Czechs, Turks, Swedes and the English.
Asian betting syndicates have fixers more or less everywhere.

Watched it years ago and thought it was boring as fuck. I was only 15 then though.

Now, I haven't seen very much of Spalletti at Zenit, but based on what he did at Roma I definitely agree with Karlsen's reasoning. Spalletti turned a Roma attack led by Totti, Mancini, Taddei and Perrotta into the most innovative and one of the very best in Europe. Now Spurs don't have anyone near the genius of Totti, but they have about half a dozen players as good as or better than Taddei, Mancini and Perrotta.
As limited a manager as Spalletti is, watching him manage Spurs would be genuinely fascinating.
Again, AVB did not spend a "fuck ton" of money, Baldini did.
Now, you could blame AVB for not getting the most out of the players he was provided, but you could just as easily argue that Baldini bought the wrong players.

AVB isn't in charge of transfers at Spurs.
If the transfer spending is the problem it's technical director Franco Baldini who should be sacked.
That's another one on Baldini. A clear case of new manager syndrome, except in this case it's a technical director that's responsible.

I hate to say it, but it is your tactics.

The difficulty now is understanding how far up or down these shouts actually put the defensive line.

A low-tempo, short passing possession game should see you conceding very little, if your team is good enough.

Soldiers fight wars and open fire when their rules of engagement instructs them to, they do not carry out executions at their own desire. Wearing a military uniform does not make you into Judge Dredd.

Ground-sharing is hardly some radical idea that's never been tried before. Especially if it is only temporary.

A truly inspiring man and one of the greatest leaders of the 20th century. The world is truly a lesser place without him.

It's a perfect way of dealing with infractions in hockey because it is a very quick game played in a small and very cramped space, so the game gets tilted heavily in favour of the numerically advantaged team after a penalty because they get the time and space that come at a premium during regular play, leading to many more scoring opportunities and goals, while severely limiting the scoring opportunities of the penalised team. Basically it is both an effective form of punishment and something that raises the entertainment value of a game.
Football is an entirely different type of game, much slower, much more tactical and with far more space. Playing 11 against 10 won't make that much of a difference for the advantaged team while the team that is down a man will just park the bus, waste as much time as possible and do everything they can to slow the game down to a standstill until the penalised player is back, and once a game breaks down like that it almost never recovers. It would completely destroy the flow of the game and send the entertainment value down the gutter.
