I've seen worse injuries, both in terms of the damage done (e.g. injuries where people got paralysed or died) and in terms of shocking imagery (severed arteries, for instance, look up "Clint Malarchuk" on YT if you feel like getting sick.).

That said, that was an incredibly gruesome injury. The reactions from his fellow players really says all that needs to be said about it.

Here to piss on everyone's fun, but German's don't just say one word sentences they just have compound nouns which are actually pretty cool.

We actually have them in English a bit as well, you would just tend to hyphenate them.

Swedish works the same way. In theory you could combine an infinite amount of words to create one ridiculously long word.

I partially agree with him tbh, they do all look the same. Is no one bored yet?

Apparently the target audience isn't, as these games keep generating tonnes of money.

I used to love the Battlefield series when it first came out, then they decided to turn it into Desert Combat 2 and it started taking itself far too seriously and I lost my interest.

Honestly if you're struggling to win in the Bundesliga with that team it's probably a tactical or morale issue, not one of talent. If that's the case buying more players isn't going to help.

I don't know much about dogs, my ex had a pack of whippets and about everything I know comes from him. Whippets are lovely by the way. But anyway, my question is if you're going to breed dogs to be cunts, why is it generally pit bulls and the like? I understand why people do it with alsations and stuff like that because they're huge, but why pit bulls?

Because they have a high strength-to-size ratio and a fierce personality. And because they have a reputation, and the people who like attack/fighting dogs are generally retards and don't know any better.

All I will say is it's not the dog breed but the dogs personality which is a reflection of the owner most of the time. We've got a doberman cross with a bull arab (basically a fucking huge dog and he's gentle as fuck) and we've also got a neapolitan mastiff crossed with an american bulldog (basically a fucking huge dog and she's gentle as fuck).

A dog's temperament and "personality" are just as much a result of it's breed as it is a reflection of it's owner. Breeds that have been bred to serve as guard, hunting or fighting dogs, where an aggressive temperament was desirable will naturally be more prone to violence than say, a retriever or any other breed where a gentle temperament was a desirable trait.

It is true that the owner plays a big role and ultimately it is the owner's responsibility to look after their dogs properly, but the reality is that some dogs are more dangerous than others, either because of their temperament or their size/strength. It would take an exceptionally cruel owner to turn a golden retriever into a threat, with a rottweiler, pit bull and similar dogs all you need is an inattentive owner.

A spider slightly larger than a bottle cap has been living behind a painting on the wall next to my computer for like 2 years.

I don't really mind spiders at all, they keep the house free of flies, and if there is anything I genuinely hate in this world it is flies, particularly the ones in summer that have grown fat from all the cow dung they've consumed.
