Hi guys.

Recently been experimenting with Twitch but i'm not sure that's for me... However i'm quite proud of my save, so would love to share it with you all.

Firstly, the name of the club is Seaton Carew Sharks Football Club. A quick nudge at the American franchises. The story goes a very well off American businessman had the brilliant idea of creating a club to dominate English football. He did not realise he would have to start at the bottom though. Quickly getting bored, he lost the club in a drunken game of dominoes. In comes Mike Scott, a local paper seller who's job it is now to actually do something with this club.

The club is based in Hartlepool in the North East of England. A lovely coast, sunny beaches and a freezing cold sea... a perfect place for a football club. The training grounds are the local Soccer Domes, inflatable arena with artificial grass. The stadium is called The Sandy Car Park. Literally, thats what it is. A local name for a basically a bit of tarmac with a water works (the water works is now the location of the ground).

We started at the bottom, in tier 10. Very hard graft and pretty much a laughing stock of the league. A lovely big stadium with no fans. Slowly but surely we have worked ourselves up the leagues.

It's been quite difficult as we've had zero money. I managed to give myself a little glitch where anyone i involved with the club was doubled. So if i signed someone on £20 a week, their was a hidden version of him however the money would still come out of the funds. Managed to sort it by basically sacking everyone through the editor.

We had a fantastic cup run in the 26/27 season. We made it to the 3rd round replay and got beat on penalties by Coventry. That was pretty much the catalyst for everything to go well. We've not managed to get that far again but we've basically been living off that money ever since. Been quite a few players who managed to stick around too, granted they weren't playing alot but they joined in the lower leagues and made it up to National League North with us. That's when i had to put feelings aside and cut the strings, they just were not good enough. I have still got one player Dominic Ellis, joined us in the northern premier league, he's a 24 striker & been with us for 7 years. He's literally used to get round my home grown club quota. Scored 10 goals in the last 5 seasons. Basically costing me £35 a week unused sub fee.

We have had some VERY close shaves with relegation aswell. In the 24/25 season we were 1/3 teams that finished on 33 points. Pretty sure we scored a goal late on to secure safety aswell. The emotions this save has given me, honestly.

So now we're in league 2. We are a pro club. We can scout Scotland & Wales. Still a relatively young & unknown club so it is a monumental task getting players to come. If i cant get them in on trial, pretty much no chance getting them full time. We have tried for a senior affiliate like 6 times now i think, no success.

In the 25/26 season, i nearly killed the club. Not paying attention & authorised a free transfer. Not realising the £5000 compensation i had to pay. That season was tough. It was basically me kicking about the training ground cause i couldn't afford any help. He left on a free 4 years later. We were in the national north & he got a club in the northern league division 2. So that says pretty much everything.

Special mentions to our record holders:
Most appearances: Steve Stephens - LB - Left Hull City & spent 9 years with us making 253 appearances.
Most league goals scored in a season - Dean Thatcher - Season 19/20 -
Most league goals - Dean Thatcher - 203 appearances 94 goals - Was with us 8 years before being released and retired age 27

I cant really think of anything else just yet to update you with so i'm gonna leave you with my best bit of transfer business. The best keeper i'd had and could get was holding me to ransom. At a time when the clubs highest earner was on £250, he wanted £700 & a couple of thousand signing on fee. He made the decision for me, i couldn't afford to keep him so he was released. Beautifully timed, i got an even better keeper in on trial and signed him up immediately & had a 16 year old back up keeper on the bench. Less than a month later i offered the ex-keeper a trial as he hadn't gotten a club. Managed to resign him as a back up on a non-contract £180 appearance fee & £45 sub fee. He's been with me ever since & has not played a single game!

Thanks for reading, i hope the pictures worked & if not. Please let me know how to fix it etc and i'll put any pictures up of stuff you wanna see.

Oh, also let me know if its something you would be interested in watching on Twitch or Youtube. It would be very badly edited/set up as i literally have no clue & never done anything like this before. This save has just got me really pumped & i'm genuinely proud of how we're getting on. Will try keep on top of this as my girlfriend could not care less about my new signings LOL!
