Going back to your original comment, now that I've caught up, it was indeed highly predictable for an episode. I still enjoy it though

Boo Selby Must be the easiest draw in a tournament for him. Didn't play anyone major and everyone he played had a big game before they played him. Ah well, guess it's just that Leicester effect!

Bye bye Dundee United

Relegated at rivals Dundee, the ground literally next door.

Relegation was inevitable this season towards the end, but to suffer confirmation at the hands of your bitter rivals has to make it twice as bitter.

Another football club where fans are fed up with the owners.

Still plenty of time to bottle it again.

Spurs to get a red card and Chelsea to equalise in the last five minutes?

Selby one frame away but Ding has won the last three...

Pretty sure it's the first to 18, so Selby still needs two as I write this

Hoping Ding can pull this out!

Ref is being very lenient tonight, luckily for Kyle Walker who finally gets booked - that could be his second yellow on another night.

Still think it's ridiculous that people "book" 5+ leagues to make. Should be the focus on actually finishing one before being able to start another...

Ipswich could be a club in turmoil next season. I don't think Mick McCarthy will be here, the owner doesn't like to spend money and the crowds are down as fans are bored with the club. Hull are similar, they may well be a decent sized club but the fans are not happy and the owner is unwell. Poor relations between the fans and the board does not make to a conductive season. Also, think Boro is a strange one behind closed doors too - if they don't go up this season I can see them struggling next season regardless of whether Karanka stays as the wheels could come completely off.

Too many "big" teams in the Championship to predict it at either end. Look at Fulham, how are they only 1 place above relegation this season. And of course Bolton and Charlton going down, both of who graced the Premiership in the past. It's a crazy division and arguably better than the Premiership usually (for it's lack of predictability - though disputably not this season!).

In my Blackpool game, April in second season, there must be a lot of managers who are far exceeding their board expectations because I'm second favourite for the sack - even though I have 58% board satisfaction and have just signed a new contract at the club a week previously! Just had 3 wins on the trot too. Don't know what more I can do to get my odds of the sack down!

So, the Dingles win promotion back to the Premier League and their shed shakes from the celebrations. Hopefully they'll put some of the riches into giving their seating area a bit of an upgrade, though I know inside loos is luxury in Burnley. I spose I should be a bit happier that a team from Lancashire will be in the country's top division, so through clenced jaw and gritted teeth, begrudgingly, welldoneburnley. Glad for Sam Vokes, was harsh what happened to him last time - missing out on the celebrations and beginning of the Premiership season through injury. I don't see them staying up, they're pretty much the new WBA.

QPR need a striker, Polter is not good enough and they really lack that threat in the final third. Faurlin came closest today, hitting the post. I think Jimmy will guide them to at least the play offs next season if they manage to get a good front man, pretty much what they're missing.

Ohhhh that Boro v Brighton game is gonna be good!

You are getting some nice youngsters through, I think I'll have to pay more attention to the Danish leagues in my games for future propects! Having people like Schweinsteiger in to tutor must be a boost too

Yeah, we're fucked.

In other news, really like this Brighton side. Hope they manage to get promoted and even win the title. Crazy that they play Middlesbrough on the final day in what could be a slog out for the trophy.

Well, looks like Walsall have kept us alive until the final day, currently 3-0 up against Fleetwood.

We still need a miracle, bottom of the table Crewe to win away at Fleetwood and us to win our trip to Peterborough.

We don't deserve it and I hope we go down.

I'm not sure 'hair pulling' is actually a red card offence to be fair, but there definitely should be some sort of recognition that there were mitigating factors.

It happened to an ex-player of ours earlier in the season, Marcus Bean had his hair pulled by two Morecambe players and they both got 3 match bans as the panel of refs decided it was a red card offence under violent conduct.

Story here.

More than fair imo and Huth should get the same, he has been getting away with it a bit this season (no where near as much as Fellaini).
