Long sleeved shirt with badges, number, name , shorts and socks will cost me $172.

Buying just the short sleeved shirt out here in Australia is $130, getting ripped off over here for sure!!

More to the point though, how much do you reckon a bad kit actually affects sales? I reckon 95% of people who are going to buy a shirt are going to buy regardless of design. They just want the current shirt.

Maybe a really, really shit shirt can actually help drive sales a bit. I'd imagine quite a few people would want the Liverpool shirt as a sort of novelty factor, as it's unique, who maybe don't get around to buying a nicer, but blander shirt.

No person of sound mind would pay $130 for that Liverpool away kit.

Fellaini has the potential to be as good as Vieira.
Wilshere has the potential to be as good as Fabregas.
Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain can definitely match or be better than Pires, Reyes or Ljungberg.

Starting lineup to face the Faroe Islands has been announced and I'm happy with it apart from the inclusion of Simon Cox over James McClean, have no idea what Trapattoni is thinking doing that. Delighted to finally see Wes Hoolahan given a chance in a competitive fixture, hopefully he and Keane will combine well and we'll win comfortably.

It is but i dont know why people put such a massive weight on the design of a football jersey thats only going to be replaced a year later.

The reason they're replaced every year is because fans want to wear their teams jersey and are willing to pay a lot of money to do that as well. Fans obviously want a nice jersey that doesn't look like a five year old designed with his left over crayola's he never used.

So tonight at indoor after we'd won 11-3 a member of the opposition team came up and went all John Terry on me and kneed me in the back of the leg. Now the other team we play happens to have a girl in it and she was the one that did it. I've asked a few people and they're kind of split, but should I report something like that to the police? Like I imagine if I'd done it I wouldn't have got away with it really.

Yeah, McCarthy appears to be a great buy. Everton seem like the perfect club for him too - a big step up from Wigan but nothing that should place too much pressure on him.
