I'm certain that there was a statistic floating around during the US Open final that the vast majority (if not all for X number of games) had been won by the player who had a days more rest.

You'd have thought it would make sense to play both on the same day, but I guess there's less money to be made.

Yeah he played a much easier game and it showed as the game wore on because he had juice left in the tank and Murray didn't. I remember playing football on a tennis court due to weather and that, fucking legs and ankles were in bits the next day, I can't imagine 48 hours after a 5 set thriller against arguable the best tennis player ever is enough time to recover to then play the best player in the last year or so.

Yeah I seen that and the commentator for ESPN who I can't remember his name, he's a former Liverpool player anyway, was all like that's uncalled for blah blah blah as if Suarez was a fucking angel.

For the record judging from the first picture he's clearly trying to be a cunt and if it was someone like Suarez it would get talked about much more, you can't even deny that.

You could play it that way if you want, there isn't really a right or wrong way, I just wanted to play it being extremely strict, so no foreigners at all from the start and only players who can play for England.

Season Update: 02/11/2012 - 02/12/2012

So the month of November was a testing one and results were a bit inconsistent. At this stage it looks as if Spurs are going to win the Premier League, I mean they've started in almost perfect fashion and it would have been difficult to match that even with the original Manchester United squad, let alone and English side that's been thrown together in a short space of time. Very disappointing results against Fenerbache and our rivals Manchester City, at least we're guaranteed progression from our Champions League group though!!

I have a similar save going with Arsenal at the moment, I suggest not doing such a rapid fire sale of the foreigners, I am currently going into the 2016/17 season and still have one foreigner left in the club and that is Marco Verratti. I haven't found a good replacement for him yet in my line up who is English. I do have a couple good young regens coming through.

My main suggestion is when the youth intake comes unless you want them all to come from your club, scout all of the new English regens from the clubs who have great youth facilities. I have poached some good players from the likes of United, Southampton, West Ham and Chelsea already.

It's to late now, what's done is done.

Yeah it was always going to be difficult selling everyone first up and replacing them with good players. I feel the first team is still quite good, but if suspensions, injury and fatigue set in we'll struggle to match City, Spurs and Chelsea who won't have those issues.
