Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas says he is happy with his sides recent performances despite seeing the North London club slip out of the top four in the Premier League last Sunday.
Spurs sit just outside the Premier Leagues top four with two games in hand over bitter rivals Arsenal who currently occupy fourth spot, although the Gunners only enjoy a two point advantage over Spurs.
Despite watching his side slip out of the top four on Sunday as Wigan Athletic striker Mauro Boselli scored a late equalizer at White Hart Lane, Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas says he's happy with his sides recent performances, the Portuguese manager again mentioning his sides undeserved exit from the Capital One Cup.
"I've been happy with our performances lately, I think we've been playing good football and have done very well in our games to dominate. The players are doing well and we continue to improve," said Villas-Boas.
"We need to stay alert until the game is over because we didn't do this against Wigan Athletic. We did this against Dinamo Moscow which seen us win 5-0, but for some reason we shut down on Sunday, it's disappointing. We have been in good form lately and I still think we deserved to stay in the Capital One Cup," added the Spurs boss.
The comments about Spurs undeserved Capital One Cup exit will only fuel the flames ahead of the North London clubs trip to the Britannia Stadium to face Stoke City this weekend. The pair sit in fifth and sixth place respectively in the Premier League level on points although Spurs enjoy a superior goal difference.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas could be without winger Aaron Lennon until the New Year after scans confirmed the England international had suffered a fractured rib against Wigan Athletic.
Spurs winger Aaron Lennon could be out of action until the New Year after suffering a fractured rib against Wigan Athletic yesterday at White Hart Lane. The news that the winger may be missing for almost two months won't please Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas, the 25 year old having been in fine form this season.
Lennon has scored four times in 12 appearances this season for the North London club.
The winger suffered the injury after a collision with left back Arthur Boka during Spurs 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic yesterday at White Hart Lane, scans today revealing a fractured rib which will rule Lennon out for at least a month and means the winger is in real danger of missing Spurs games against Arsenal and Chelsea next month.
There was also bad news for Scott Parker, the midfielder today ruled out for a further three weeks following a groin strain, the 32 year old midfielder having only returned to first team action following an achilles injury.

He was strong, quick, powerful, fantastic at dribbling and a superb finisher.
I mean Messi has scored a freakish amount of goals the last two seasons but we need to remember he's got possibly the two greatest midfielders supplying him and although Henry had very good players around him none of them could pass a ball like Xavi or Iniesta can. I'm just saying at his peak I think Henry was on the same level as Ronaldo and Messi.
EDIT: It's impossible to compare Van Nistelrooy with Henry really and unfair on both because they're totally different players. I mean Van Nistelrooy scored like 99.99% of his goals from inside the area. He wasn't the type of player that could pick the ball up in his own half and beat five defenders before sliding the ball past the keeper, like for example this goal. I still miss seeing Ruud scoring goals, he was fucking unbelievable.

I watched that video ages ago and did a little bit of reading, apparently the likes of the CIA have used it before as a truth serum during the Cold War. My partner spent a year in Ecuador and said she was warned about it by her friends even though the main problem is in Columbia. Obviously take the Vice video with a pinch of salt, the people in the video could just be actors and the stories all made up.

They've just been beaten 3-1 by a team that's playing in League Two with what looked like quite a full strength side to me.
If they are knocked out by them it surely has to be the final straw considering they're only sitting outside the relegation zone because Wigan and Southampton have been quite unlucky this season. They've the worst defence in the Premier League and have scored the least (along with QPR).

Because they're in real danger of being relegated.
