Feel like this too. Wouldn't move in his situation either, as long as it's caus he wants to stay and fight rather than financial I have no problem.

If it was for financial reasons, as in a fatter contract he's going the long way about it. I mean he's not going to get that at Old Trafford until he forces his way into the first team and performs, that'll take some effort now given what's in front of him.

He's gone the wrong way if he wants more money. Would have been better going to Villa or Everton and showing what he can do, then asking for more money. He won't get much first team football at Old Trafford this season now really with what's in front of him.

You know I'm not even mad about Cleverley not wanting to leave. It actually shows his love for the club, although obviously in a sense self serving, maybe just maybe he'll pull the finger out and force his way back into the team and not play like he's never seen a football before.

I quite like how both the 3-5-2 and the 4-4-2 diamond look with our squad tbh. A lot depends on how good Blind is in that holding role (or Carrick) and Di Maria continuing to put in sterling defensive work.

I'd like to see us ease Shaw into things. He's still quite young and we paid a big fee, don't want him getting slaughtered if he makes a few mistakes, so I'd pop Blind in there for a month or two, let Shaw regain his fitness as well. We'll definitely have a different look to us now when we face QPR on 14th September.

He hardly had a great tournament to be fair. 3 in his first 2 games including that header and then a penalty in the third place play off with games looking like their passing him by at times.

Not saying its definitely true, but its believable.

He didn't have a spectacular tournament but he certainly didn't show signs of basically needing a knee op imo.

It took Di Maria awhile to settle but he did and that ball for Van Persie was sublime.

I was absolutely gobsmacked when we didn't get that penalty for the push on Young.

I don't believe the Van Persie rumours. Surely if he was injured we'd have had him undergo that surgery after the World Cup and not be playing Russian roulette with his knee. Didn't show any signs of it during the World Cup as well.
