Valencia's had 2 seasons to get back to his best, I have no confidence he ever will.

Even then, he's about the last player I'd want in a fluid system. He's incredibly rigid, forced by his lack of a left and lack of flair to go to the byline and cross ad nauseum.

Yeah I'm not confident it'll happen either. Well I'm hoping a change of manager may bring something else out in him that we've not seen often. I'd like to see us trying to play him in behind defences and use his pace, kind of like how Holland use Robben, although Robben is obviously a different standard of player to Valencia.

God knows why but we've given Valencia a new deal.

I'm hoping LVG is planning to play quick, fluid attacking football and wants to use his pace.
