I'm not too sure at this stage - and I know this is something that @Footygamer will be looking into, as well, so I don't want to advise any action to be taken at this stage.

From my quick observation, it appears that they show as ‘Director’ on the site data and, in-game in FM24, this results in them being set as the corresponding ‘Director’ role. When a submission is made to set them as ‘Director of Football’, this appears to then set them to the corresponding ‘Director of Football’ role in-game in FM24…that is, everything matches.

It also appears that for someone set as ‘Director of Football’ on the site (e.g. Tiago Pinto), in-game in FM26 they continue to be a ‘Director of Football’ (i.e. nothing breaks). However, interestingly, I could also see (in-game in FM26) the likes of Hugo Viana and Andrea Berta as ‘Director of Football’ roles (despite the data on the site showing them simply as a ‘Director’ role). It is this last bit that makes me hesitant to advise anyone going out of their way to make submissions, as it may be something that needs adjustment centrally to make things easier. I also know SI updates and changes have muddied the waters and caused this to flip-flop over recent months.

For what it's worth, I'm just having a look through on FM26 and I am seeing all of the Set-Piece Coaches in their correct roles. I've just checked a handful that are in the Premier League. I checked examples such as Nicolas Jover (UID: 48030808) and Austin MacPhee (61063004).

With respect to the Director of Football roles in FM24 - I can confirm that all of those show as, simply, Director roles. I checked examples such as Hugo Viana (727976), Andrea Berta (1410276) and Tony Khan (29183227).

I did note that Tiago Pinto (90077921) had the role of Director of Football in FM24, but this appears to be courtesy of a submission made through the site.

I will download the latest FM26 update later today and feedback what its showing for me.

I will do the same with FM24 also. So the DOF roles have be set to now be showing as Director roles only aside from the manually submitted ones?

It was showing in both the last I checked about a week or so ago. I manually changed the recognised names. I can check again later today if that helps?

There are some issues wit hthe director of football roles showing as director on fm24 (gone back from fm26) ingame and the editor file. I think you'r already aware though from a previous thread ive seen.

Just to be clear this is a SI bug not an extraction bug, it's best fixed by the usual submission method.

Hi, You're possibly already aware but it seems all the set piece coaches are showing as chairperson on the FM26 data update. Ive attached the people ive checked and the pre game editor with the contracts File and all show as chairperson.

Hopefully you can mass edit all the setpiece coaches 🙂

I noticed some existing staff roles have mysteriously changed in game, even though their data submission is correct.

For example the data submission correctly has Jim O'Brien (5209579) as the Under 18's Manager. However in-game (FM24 Update) he has become a First Team Coach. This has happened with multiple staff members across different clubs, which causes Youth Squads to have little or no staff and the First Team to have surplus coaches.

Just jumping onto this. This is what it shows (Attached) on the editor for Jim OBrien - 5209579

A lot of the winter transfer loans are showing as £0 wage contribution. Also some staff issues remain, which I listed above. Some player loans remain missing also. Example - Asier Villalibre is on loan at Racing Santander but the loan isn't active on the latest update I've downloaded. All on FM24.

I can confirm that the 2000507666 is a duplicate (here, here, here and here).

This player is now not showing in game at all on FM24, has he been deleted?

Okay this has puzzled me a bit but I think I solved it. It seems like back in July 2022 I hard coded something to always skip over loan wage percentage and i've only just rediscovered this. Unfortunately I can't remember why I did that, I assume it was causing problems but I can't find any notes or threads from that time to remind myself.

I've disabled it for now and it should definitely be in the next update now.

I've confirmed this via the “live” update which has Jhon Duran at 100% wage percentage.

Free users will have to wait till the overnight update.

If anyone spots some with existing issues please report specific player names (and preferably IDs) rather than saying something vague like “i've noticed some players still aren't working”. Thanks alot 🙂

Just incase some people are annoyed or confused by the constant back and forth i'd like to explain that it's possible for me to write and deploy code from pretty much anywhere at any time, but it's not always possible for me to load up FM and test these things, so I really appreciate you guys testing it and giving feedback, but also i'm sorry you have to do that ideally i'd only ever deploy things that are 100% confirmed working.

Brilliant 🙂 I cant test anything until tomorrow now but im happy to keep testing for if needs be as I won't be starting a new save until after the transfer window.

still showing 0 salary for the loan players.
I mean, the players salary still paid by the initial (owner) club which is not realistic.
is there any way to fix this issue?

@Footygamer Unfortunately I can confirm the salaries are still showing as 0% contribution for the loan players on the majority I have come across. Could it be an option to be added to the data update where when somebody submits a loan, If they have the info it can be added on the submission page? Or even a default % wage contribution for the loaning club at say 50% as an example. Only lower league clubs would pay 0% of the wages when loaning a player.

I think the Deportivo La Coruna loans that I initially added on here, most of those loans would be at least 50%. FM26 probably has the contribution % already, its just FM24 doesn't, especially with the amount if changes to the database since 2023/24.

I will leave it with you anyway.
