This will be because the contracts file hasn't been updated yet to +3.

I am not quite sure I understand. What is a sharp position change? The player I mentioned has team-mates whose positions have changed correctly, I just don't know why his hasn't.
Wondering why the position changes have included some but not all… e.g. Gus Hamer (37050681) has AMLC in FM26 but is not reflected in the FM24 update.
This also happening at other clubs. It's inflating staff numbers and leaving youth teams with no staff!

I tested out the new position changes in FM24 and not sure if working correctly? Gustavo Hamer (37050681) has AMLC in his data, but in game it's still as it was in FM24. I am using it in conjunction with SIO's Update.

I checked on my save, and he is not listed on BCFCs staff at all. I made the change in the data update for you, see if it's on the next drop.

I managed to change a similar thing for SUFC by setting Stephen Bettis back to Managing Director (on the data update) and it was updated for the FM24 download… maybe try it with Tom Wagner…

Think it's been mentioned elsewhere but the ownership/chairmen/directors seem to be largely random now (on FM24), with personnel from previous FM24 updates missing. Coupled with staff roles being changed or in some cases staff having now more than on...
The other thing I noticed when starting a new save (FM24) is some points deductions were not applied (Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship for example). Their transfer embargo is applied however, just not the points deductions.
Sorry mate, should have done this first time. I'm on FM24 so 24.3 update with the Enhanced Update as of 30/12. 29063519 is his FM ID. Last time I was playing (admittedly a few months ago) he had been removed but now appears to be back...
