That's not how it works and you know it. I really want to go for a meal out but my favourite restaurant is too expensive so I'll wait a few months for the price to drop. Or maybe they'll have a sale.

It's a much better game than Sim City 4. If you want to play a modern Sim City game, it is worth the price. Yes, the always online is annoying but the servers are stable and the game works. If always online is a deal breaker, you don't need some random cunt on the internet to tell you not to get it. If you have £40 and want to play a Sim City then get stuck in. It's that simple.

There are alternatives to this for now. A kickstarter has started for an offline game like it and there are cheaper alternatives like Cities XL. Right now £40 is simply not a good price for this game.

Always online game that you can not play offline? That alone is enough to wait for a 50% drop in price and then you factor in the issues so far and it should make you think before you part with even a penny for this.

You can't get round this issue with ad hominem arguments.

No I do not. Gerrard literally did not win anything singlehandedly as that is literally impossible in a team sport. Nice attempt at a fallacy fallacy though. You argued wrong and tried to blame someone else. I have not actually entered into ad hominem territory though. You have the burden of proof though as you made the claim, so prove it.

Given that he was man of the match in the final and without his piece of individual brilliance they wouldn't have even got out of the group stages, what actual evidence do you have to suggest that I am wrong?

Might need an eye operation, that'll feel a little odd. I'm not as squeamish about eyes as I used to be, but having something cut into my eye to drain fluid won't be pleasurable. Doctor said that there's a chance I could have a general anesthetic but they prefer just injecting your eyes. Nice.

He was so under-appreciated while being an automatic selection for England in every important game and playing in one of the most famous Manchester United teams ever and consistently getting into double figures in goals for the season....

I don't think I can think of one time when someone has said Paul Scholes wasn't a very, very good player.
