First Juve trophy and a personal defence of one of my own titles. UEFA Super Cup wrapped up against my old Real team no less. Looking at their team sheet, it felt bizarre to see them with no wingers, especially after all of the investment and talent I threw at that squad.
Anyways, it didn't feel great to beat my own team so easily.

First player through the door is one Memphis Depay from PSV. We really needed a left sided winger, and Depay truly fits the mould. Bags of talent.
And the new LB. Left sided full-backs are at a bit of a premium it seems, so I was sort of stuck with Clichy....
Chuffed to bits with Hulk. Monster wingers to feed Tevez.

A media prediction of 1st and I'm straight under the cosh for results. Let's hope the team can play my tactics sharpish.
Another strong squad, a little on the bloated side. I'm not entirely happy with the left flank so I'll be looking for a new winger and LB. That midfield is ridiculous, Pogba, Vidal and Pirlo. *swoon*

- GK's - Casillas and Navas have been on rotation all season with Iker in on the more important games. Both players never let me down when called upon.
- New Signings - Musacchio came in a knocked Pepe out of the first team getting himself into the team of the year. Coleman was a solid backup at RB. Raheem sterling came in and was fairly solid if unspectacular. Could probably be considered a more long term replacement to Ronaldo.
- ST's - Chicorito hit the ground running scoring 33 goals but really tapered off towards the end of the season. Benzema wan't up to standard for me, and now finds himself transfer listed. Jese has done nothing but complain, given the chance was useless compared to anyone else I had. Real will need a first class striker for nest season.
- Personal Player of the Year? - I had so many to choose from. Ronaldo scored all the goals, Bale gave all the assists, but for me James and Kroos were really just pulling all the strings in midfield. If I had to choose? Toni for me.

Messi is a machine. Ronnie still couldn't top his goals, but look at all of those assists from the other guys. A massive shout out to Kroos who was a force in the middle of the park. All of this reflected below...
Bizarrely, Ronaldo managed to get player of the year, but couldn't get into team of the year.

2-0 down to Chelsea in the first leg, I genuinely thought it was over. I threw my best team at them for the second leg and just couldn't break them down in the first half. Off game Benzema for Chichorito, Bale for James, and they turned it around. 2 assists from James and a gold from Javier and we were into extra time. A goal from Chichorito and a late onslaught from Chelsea and we're into the quarter's! Very happy.
