Even though I ike the blue buttons, out of curiosity, where is it configured? 

I'm currently preparing for Releaseversion of FM24 and German-League-File - at which time I will add a small local Club into FM.

Someone created a nice set of shirts for me which I started testing to add to the game on a different already existing minor club.

All works fine so far, except two things:

Third/Alternative shirt is missing on club overview page. However, this might be due to the club missing a third alternative shirt in the database in the first place.

Second thing is, if I go to a player on that club, the club logo, and front side of the main shirt is displayed perfectly. 

However, I cannot make the backside of the shirt working with my new additons.

While the code for displaying the front of the shirt is something like:

<record from="newclub_front" to="graphics/pictures/club/121204/logo/background/left"/>

What does it require to correctly display the backside of the shirt - where Name and number will be added by the skin - as well?

The new adjusted colour scheme looks nice so far. However, I found one situation, which looks rather ugly 🙂

Can you probably adjust this as well?

Btw, for those who prefer to have their players on loan (in/out) in the original colours - like I do - simply go to “settings\fm2024flutskin_dark settings.xml”

and search for

<colour name="loan out" red="249" green="189" blue="124" /> <!-- on loan to other club -->
<colour name="loan in" red="155" green="249" blue="155"/>    <!-- on loan from other club -->

and change to

<colour name="loan out" value="purple 300" /> <!-- on loan to other club -->
<colour name="loan in" value="blue 300"/>    <!-- on loan from other club -->

You can do the same for players on trial in/out … Trial in should be something close to value="green 300"

If I want to switch the news source to “transfermarkt” - where would I need to put the two files (jpg, xml) ?

If this requires a change to one of the panel XML Files, I gladly do that for myself, if you point me to the correct location…

Same - minor one as well - on matchday, when you have the ticket with the game-ticket - it always start on Portuguese league as default. Is there a way to set "Bundesliga" as default?

This is the initial mail you get in your inbox regarding your squad when you start a new save (might repeat with similar mails during the season)

As you can see, there's a lot of empty space, while the actual content is very small and needs scrolling…

When I copy the abilityinformation.xml from FM23 Skin, it looks almost ok:

However, comparing the old and new version of this file -  I do not really see a difference, which makes it a bit weird 🙂

First issue seen - on player detail screen, CA line is almost completely cut off…

So far, I have two…

One is in Scouting - which I documented a couple of postings above.

The second is while you're in a match. In FM23 the block where you do your ingame adjustmenst looked like in the first picture.

In FM24, it looks like in second picture.

It's not possible to extend the two buttons to original size… Not sure if that's a setting or skin related

Click on “Edit Search” - for me, nothing happens…

One more issue… Go to Scouting -→ Player and try to do a search … The screen darkens but no window shows up. Most likely because the layout of this search window has changed from previous versions.

Actually there are more nasty colour combinations - like in the new game preparation email in the inbox.

So surely the skin needs some attention to re-adjust this. Still, it's promsising that a LOT still work nicely and smooth, so this does not look like as a redesign from scratch is necessary…

Actually I duplicated the complete Skin directory 1:1 and adjusted the config, so the skin was detected by FM24… No other change applied.

So I assume that the change in the button coulor is game related. If someone has an idea where to check, I would appreciated, I am able to work within the xml files and adjust if I know where to look at 😉

Mostly it works very smoothly. 

However, some Buttoncolour changed. Particularly within interactive Inbox Messages.

It's now yellow with white coloued text - almost unreadable 🙂 In the past this used to be a a darker box (some sort of blue) with white text and was perfect.

For better visualisation, I added two screenshot of the buttons in FM24 vs FM23

So I think we will for sure need some adjustemnt and tweak here and there but for the beginning it's just so much better than the boring original skin… 

As this was my skin for all of FM23 season, here's hoping for some quick release on FM24, which should arrive late this or early next week 🙂

You're correct. However at this time already it was not possible to delegate to the DOF … 

Anyway, V1 of German leaguefile has just been released, so I will startover anyway … Will let you know, next time I reach the youth intake. This time I will document from Phase1, if somethihng is still weird.

To be honest, I hadn't had this issue before but in my last save it occured today. As I hadnt changed anything except the skin, I thought it would be skin related.

As said, I will check at the next intake in my new save…

There is something wrong during Youth intake phase… Instead of asking Director to finalise contracts - the option is to deny them! 

Also this is broken:

Havent found the right setting for it - only for the value itself, not the description. However, with "auto_size="horizontal" in the estimated cost setting, I could switch it to a single line instead of two 😉

I think it works in your case, because the description above is only one line. In german language, it's two lines… If it would be only one line, it would work as well 😉

Just found an issue with the "report" on Players page:

Great fix, Mate!

You reduced the fontsize of the hidden attributes, so you could even keep the Recommended current abilty… 😉

As the final release is up today, we now have access to the hidden attributes - for those of us who likes them displayed.

Unfortunately, two hidden attributes are missing - “Important Matches” and “Versatility”.

With a minor tweak, you can make them visible completely 😉 

As you can see, I removed the “Recommended current Ability” and reduced the spacer height from 8 to 1 …

With that, it properly displays all 12 hidden attributes. 

To not let you get confused, I also changed the display order of the hidden attributes…

With full respect of Narrigons wonderful work, I will not attach the changed file. Everyone can easily do this on its own.

The file you're looking for is “player additional attributes hidden.xml”  in the “panels/player” folder.

I was playing on 1.5 so far and was just about to leave a comment with some minor issues… while I realized you just updated to 1.9.

Just gave it a try and it's looking very nice. So far, the minor issue like scrolling through mailbox or some overlapping descriptions seem to be fixed.

Update would be really nice - particularly for the scrolling issue in the Inbox.

I was able to fix the issue with non expanding icons on players (took a global panels.xml for a different skin and it worked again) but didnt find how they fixed the scrolling issue… Other than that, the skin stzill works so far…
