Had to start the match away to PSV with 4:th choice keeper, 17-year old Miazek in goal as Mulder, Lamprou and Graafland are all injured. He didn't get much help from the defense as de Vrij, Mathijsen, Kongolo, Nelom and Janmaat are also out injured... Lost 4-0.

Good luck! It's a fun team to manage. Check out Sener Özbayrakli - a good right back to cover for Gönül. You can get him really cheap as he has a release clause of just over 1M. And I managed too sign Jem Karacakawhatever on a free from West Brom (?) after the second season.

As it turns out there's a bug in the game which changed my currency on the fly, so instead of 2.5k we're now paying Abdellaoui 4.8k, so technically I'm the one who was ripped off.
It goes further - 20-year-old goalkeeper Abdel Fatah is now paid 12k p/w, and who knows how far that discrepancy went, perhaps into last season's renewals? I don't know.

That's horrible. Are you much over budget, then?

Pretty much the same as last season. Undefeted in the fall, then fixtures become a little tighter and injuries starts piling up, it becomes a bit harder. Still, we were never really threatened.

Best too sell Webo and Kuyt I think also I have signed Ngog on a free for 2nd season and so far he has been really good! Scored 4 in a 8-1 cup win as well as a few in the league also Sow was excellent for me 1st season!

Halfway through second season, Kuyt just won Player of the year in Turkey (or Turkish players abroad, it seems) 25 goals in 42 games, with an AR of 7.46. Most of the games I played him in the AMC position.

Sener Özbayrakli is a good DR/WBR who also has a low release clause (around 1.5 M if I rememberr it right). Good as a rotation options with Gönül.
Kaan Ayhan can be loaned from Shalke and is a very good an versitile player.
Samed Yesil is also available on loan.

Other Turkish players I have bought: Serdar Aziz, Mehmet Ekici, Jimmy Durmaz

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm pretty sure Super Cup games won't count as a competitive fixture. I think that decision was made in an earlier challenge.

Great first season BOT Brad!

I have started similar with 15 league games without losing, I'm just waiting for the drop... I haven't signed anyone, but hopefully I can bring some cover players in January. Would like one more defender and maybe a midfielder too. I tried to sell Baroni, but could only get a loan deal for him.
