My next move was to the southern suburbs of Stockholm and the newly relegated team Enskede IK. Now this was a team with a lot more quality than the previous ones. I had also learned a thing or two from my previous mistakes.

In my first season we did what the board, fans (all 150 of them), me and the players demanded – we won the league. Much thanks to a good affiliate work with parent club Djurgården who let us use a lot of their youngsters for free.

We continued the same way the next year and won a straight promotion to the Superettan, the second tier of Swedish football, with almost the same team.

The first season we survived, finishing in a honourable 10th place. The second season a couple of steps forward to the 6th place. And the third season we finally did it, won the league and gained promotion to Allsvenskan.

One of the things I am most proud of is that the first team consists of about seven players that have been with us from the division 2 days. A player presentation will come in a later post.
This was the history of this career, I will continue it from where I am today in 2023 and my sixth season with Enskede.

I started off by taking control of one of the few teams that actually have the name “Stockholm” in it – IFK Stockholm in the second division Södra Svealand (fourth tier). However, after a disastrous first season we finished bottom of the table – relegation – sacked!

I then moved my bags a couple of miles to the east and took over Nacka FF playing in the secon division Norra Svealand, in the beautiful municipality of, well, Nacka. This team I had really high hopes for. We had two former top league wingers, Sebastian Castro-Tello and Haris Laitinen. Both have lots of routine playing in Hammarby and still not more than 30. But I still hadn’t found my way into the game and after a 5th place the first season and a very disappointing 9th place the next, the board decided I was not longer the man for the job, and didn’t renew my contract.

My plan for this career is to fill Allsvenskan, the Swedish premier league, with as many teams from Stockholm as possible.

I don't know about that. Sounds like a perfectly fine German name to me. I think "Boden" might mean "the ground" or something like that in German. But my German isn't what it used to be...

Mohamed came of the bench in the 82 minute and scored the winner on his debute.

I signed this guy from Dortmund. He might not look fantastic, but I hope he can develop under the guidance of Cerri. He is touted as the next Gerd Müller, that's not half bad.

I let Volland go the other way - saves us about 100K a week in wages. I think we might need it as we, like last year, look to fail the FFP.

I'm trying to sell Volland as well. He's on high wages and only has one year left.

Not the most impressive games we've played, but we're through to the next round.

The story stays the same...

It didn't help that three defenders (Oesterhelweg, Jung and Müller) are away playing in the Olympics for Germany and two strikers, Haluk and Mohamed with Turkey and Egypt. Bayern only has three players away, strangely enough.

It was definately time for him to leave the club, having spent two poor seasons on loan in France. Good luck Keleshi!

Ok, it's only a friendly against a lower league side. But still. Looks at those stats! 49 shots... Cerri bagging five, by the way.

I don't know why Leverkusen let this one go for 110 K. But I don't mind. Will most likely be loaned out.

So this is my first month for quite some time, and as it's July it's all about transfers. The team is large, strong (obviously) and we have a lot of great youngsters. So a lot of decisions who's to stay in the team and who will leave and who go out on loan.

Pretty sad about this. I really liked him, but he wasn't happy about only playing four games last season. Good move by Zenit.

Looking good boys! Finally found some decent wi-fi (on the plane home). The team is looking more and more homegrown which I find pleasing. I will join in again early next week.

And my last match ends with a draw. So that's how it is playing the top three teams in one week.

Aiming for second, I guess...

Bounced back in style. The Volland/Cerri partnership worked perfectly.

Tried to sell him (along with all the other moaners: Ospina, Mason, Sturridge (who all happends to be injured)) but noone was interested.

Utterly destroyed. We started off by scoring from a corner in the second minute. Then our fun was over, it was all Bayern, and if it wasn't for Scuffet it could have been 10. Or 20... They are terrifying under Simeone, Lewandowski has scored 31 goals in 26 games this season...

Not good.

I forgot that I signed this guy during the summer. Arrived on a free from Zamalek, where he has scored an impressive 34 goals in 72 matches in three seasons.

Always good to see your players rewarded. Scuffet is in fine company.

The players are now on a winter break. The better come back prepared, because this is the week we start with.

After less than 30 minutes Oesterhelweg had gifted them three goals, took him of, but the night was already ruined. Played a slighty weaker side in this cup match. But not that weak. Horrible performance. Need to step up. The only light was Mahmoud scoring his first goal for the club.
