I have paid for this and all seems OK at setup. I then go to load the game, and it gets stuck for hours on Loading game database screen, is this just that my Mac is too slow to load in this new database? is it worth doing overnight?

 

This has now loaded, however the updates have clearly not applied, all were checked at creation of game
