Unfortunately for us he is one of our better strikers.

I believe we may end up doing our normal as if we get out of the group we should make the quarters. Then we may feature against Spain, Brazil or Holland and another possible quarter final loss.

Edit: However as it's knockout anything can happen and I'm not begin too negative

IMO we looked far better when Rooney was taken off and Barkely came on against Honduras. Granted there was a lack of goals but I think we have far more exciting, pacey and in-form players to play than Rooney.

Same for me, I think they should have made it possible to select a player then a possible position for them (e.g. sweeper, centre back, striker etc) Then the selector works out the formation you've set.

Maybe even a little pitch showing where your players play would've been cool too.

The problem with Cruff is he's classed as a forward on this. In my team that would mean cutting out one of...

Ronaldo: Top scorer in the whole history of the tournament.

Pele: Only player to win 3 World Cups and regarded as one of the greatest ever, if not the greatest.

Maradona: Carried an average Argentina through to a World Cup win and a final. In my team alone for '86.

Also I would have a tough time placing Crujff ahead of Gerd Muller simply because of Muller goals.

If he was a midfielder I would have put him above Rivelino.

I was going to compile a Susie World Cup Dream Team but Klose, Pele, Eusebio and Maradona all have 3 votes each, we need some more participants to try and get clearer results.

The most votes for a single player was Ronaldo with 7

Loving K3VO's modern version of this, looks like an awesome team too.

Seen a lot of teams with Cafu & R Carlos in so far. Interestingly Eusebio but no Pele.

This whole thing opened a club over country debate amongst my friends. All the Utd fans were defending Valencia and slating Sterling.

Had that have been Rooney diving in on Agger (for example) they would've been slating Agger's reaction.

It pains me to think that we're largely a nation that still sticks by our supported clubs over our country.

Tried a few of these in the past and they're difficult to play as there's a plethora of talent around the 14-17 age. As a believer of realism within Football Manager games I find this irritating.
