This is the cleanest set of kits I have made in a long long time, they shall see me out and into FM24. Lets see how far I can take Gartcairn.

 

Not overly happy at how these have come out, they don't seem very sharp at all.

Has there been any templates for the Adidas Teamgeist line yet at all?

My first dabble into fantasy kit making this year, for my Airdrie save which I've somehow made to season 5:

Tactics has never been my forte.

But my Airdrie team has such a soft centre, partly because the defenders are distinctly average, but also most probably because I don't understand the dark arts.

Here is a typical example:

Opposition AMR Young-Coombes has received the ball in his half in a not greatly threatening position, ahead of him ahead of him, my half-back has moved towards the back line to plug the gap as the wing backs recover in transition. Here, Young-Coombes plays one simple ball between my centre back 15 & half back 21, and the blue striker goes in and scores.

This has happened numerous times. In the setup, it certainly looks like my defence is set too wide, there is too large a gap between centre halves, and the striker isn't being marked tightly enough despite my opposition instruction.

So my question is, is it simply a case of pulling the defenders narrower when out of possession, and setting the defensive width to "force opposition outside", or do I have to look at this tactic again, and accept that this is the side effect of the defensive shape?

Hopefully right resolutions now...

@hammer9, how many Scottish teams have you done?

@hammer9... is that Scottish Championship to Highland & Lowland Leagues? I can take a pop at a few but like Montrose there are a good few kits that are a bit too elaborate for myself, if anyone wants to collaborate on them?

@hammer9 you're the pattern master... don't suppose you fancy taking a pop at this one at all? Tried my best but really struggling:

I imagine/really hope the pattern continues the whole way down, and doesn't just stop and half way as this picture entails.

Really sorry mate, I don't know how to do the 3D kits I'm afraid.

Just FYI, the Betfred Scottish League Cup logo is set on the William Hill Scottish Cup and the League Cup still has the "sponsored by Utilita" logo.
