If you are deselect it and try again, That's the usual cause of problems such as this.

The Colombian forward has spent the last few years in China playing for Dalian where he scored nine goals in fourteen games last season. He arrives in Oz for a fee of £50k
A promising youngster who is a member of the Aussie U21 team, He will be with us for the season after Dutch side VVV agreed to allow him on loan.
Another Colombian addition who will be my number one this season which in the seven games I oversaw last season was probably our weakest position. A free transfer.
Admittedly I would have preferred Lucas Neil who was my first choice for this position but he opted to stay with Al-Ahli in Egypt instead, Still Currie looks as if he will become a solid enough full back and is already in the national U18's.
Snapped up on free transfer this commanding centre back will add some girth to our back line, Has been capped for Australia.
Along with the new boys I have also promoted a bunch of promising youth players who will provide the squad with depth, Here's a look at the complete team sheet...
Whilst I'm not expecting miracles from my radically overhauled team, I do expect better than last seasons woeful campaign, Qualifying for the play-off's is the absolute minimum requirement.

I don't think we've beaten you guys in about four years.

All over the place mate, Mainly FM-Base and The Dugout.

Just four points from seven games is just not good enough considering the players in the squad, They were absolutly awful in posession and just never created anything threatening in any of the games.
Thankfully as I took over so late I'm not being judged on our performance this season, If I was I think I would be out of a job already.
On the bright side I can now begin to build my own squad, The current bunch will be stripped back as I look to get the club playing the way I want them to with most of the big names being shown the door. An improved position in next years A-League is essential.

I think he was looking for an excuse to sack RDM, He appointed him whilst caught up in the euphoria of the Champions League win and has probably been regretting it ever since.

United were using a 4-5-1 formation with all five midfielders in a tight diamond shape in the center which made it difficult to put together sequences and allowed the visitors to control possession, an advantage they capitilised on by taking the lead mid-way through the half.
With talismanic forward Alesandro Del Piero looking thoroughly uninterested in proceedings I decided to bring him off and switch to 4-5-1 myself which immediately began to yeild results as my players began to play far more expansive football to what they had shown thus far and it wasn't long until we got some pay off when midfielder Kristian Sarkies was played through on goal to finish with aplomb.
From there on in we looked the most likely to snatch all three points, Mikel Forsell came close to winning it but struck the post. I suppose a draw was a decent result and we can look to build on it in the next game against A-League's bottom side Melbourne Heart, a side I almost became manager of just a couple of weeks ago but opted for Sydney instead.

I had a few job offers from Argentine and Albanian clubs but they didn't really appeal to me, Eventually I did get a job that caught my imagination though...
Sydney have been rather under-wealming in the A-League this season and with seven games left to play look set to miss out on the play-off's...
Their poor position is suprising given the wealth of talent in the squad...
Brett Emerton and Mikel Forsell are obviously important players but there is one true standout star...
I reckon we can still make the play-off's and hopefully go on to snatch the title, Which would check off the the first leg of the challenge rather quickly.

I have been struggling to settle on a game to really get going of FM13, I keep getting inspired to start as some obscure outfit before getting another flash of inspiration a few games in to try somewhere else. What I need is some structure so I decided to pick up on a story Dan did last year where he went through Europe alphabetically one letter at a time, winning the title of each. I can't remember how far he got but hopefully this will be the start of a long term game for me finally, Also I will not just be in Europe, I have various additional leagues installed to give me a plethora of options for each letter. In addition I will hopefully complete the pentagon challenge in the process.
For letter 'A' I have the following countries loaded...
Albania (Europe)
Algeria (Africa)
American Samoa (Oceana)
Argentina (South America
Australia (Asia)
Austria (Europe)
#23894 What Was The Last Film You Saw?
I suppose the story might have been alright if it wasn't for the dreary acting throughout.

Don't lower yourself to such depths.
Palace are a good suggestion though, Maybe Cardiff too?

#22902 The Midlands Man
So to kick off my new game I began unemployed with a Sunday league rep and waited for a Midland club to give their manager a P45, It took a while but eventually I did get a job offer...
The Bulls seem like a good starting point for my career, They have a good squad to work with which should be competitive in the Conference following their relegation from League Two last year, Unfortunately for my predecessor Martin Foyle they have not started well and find themselves hovering above the relegation zone at the end of November.
#22766 The Midlands Man
Yes we do, I think we start from the preliminary round. We are also in the FA Trophy and the Northern Challenge cup.

Thanks Johno, I hope you keep reading.
#22760 The Midlands Man
As you can see, Very basic set-up which will need improving as we progress, There is no money currently for such a task unfortunately.
My intial squad...
A solid foundation to build upon, However there is some squad renovation work needed if we are to challenge for promotion.
And finally here's the clubs we will be up against this season...
We are a newly promoted team after we won the Midland Alliance last season, However I'm confident of being competitive in this division, I'm aiming for a top half finish in the first year followed by a promotion push in 2013/14.
This challenge isn't exclusive to one club so I probably won't be taking Gresley all the way up the league pyramid and shall likely leave if a bigger Midlands club should come knocking, However that doesn't mean I don't intend to continue the success the Moatmen have enjoyed since reforming fro the now defunct Gresley Rovers in 2009, Winning three successive promotions. Besides, Big clubs aren't going to hire me if I do crap are they?
#22749 The Midlands Man
For decades now English football has been dominated by clubs from the North and South; In the North Manchester United and Liverpool have collected every trophy the domestic game has to offer a ludicrous amount of times, Even Manchester City who had played second fiddle to their cross city rivals for most of their existance are now getting in on the act thanks to their new found fortune.
In the South, Top players have always been attracted to fashionable London clubs such as Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs who have also enjoyed prosperous times in the last twenty years. However the middle ground seems to have been forgotten.
The Midlands
The Midlands was once a proud footballing area, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Wolverhampton Wanders and West Bromwich Albion all have extensive trophy collections, The problem is that those trophies have a layer of dust so thick even Kim & Aggie couldn't shine them, No club hailing from the region has won England's top flight since Villa in 1981, Similarly you have to go back 26 years for the last time one of the area's clubs hoisted the FA cup. (Coventry City)
Villa and Birmingham have both reached the League cup final in the 21st century, Villa losing to Manchester United in 2010 and the Blues beating Arsenal in 2011 to restore some of the lost pride in the region, Both sides however have declined dramatically since then, Birmingham suffering relegation just two months after winning the cup and Villa narrowly surviving in 2011/12 after once again losing their best players to Northern or Southern clubs.
Now I aim to change all that, I am proud to call myself a Midlander and come hell or high water I shall make this region great again...
My Challenge: - To achieve as much as possible using only clubs and players hailing from;
Left to right: WBA win the 1968 FA cup, Brian Clough with one of Notts Forests European Cup wins, Dennis Mortimer hoists the 1982 European cup for Aston Villa, Keith Houchen scoring during Coventy's 1987 FA cup final win over Spurs, Alex McLeish with Birmingham's 2011 Carling cup trophy.
