I still don't get why Marin is so overhyped by Chelsea fans. He had a good 45 minutes in pre-season and that's it, he can dribble and penetrate but he hasn't done much when given the chance.
I still don't get why they went for him, he's overkill, especially with guys like KDB out on loan

Like when he said Turnbull should have been sent off because it was "clear goalscoring oppurtunity" on the back pass. C'mon man, Terry could and should have let it roll to Turnbull.
That being said, I don't think Chelsea did enough to win today. Punished by poor mistakes once again (Lampard and Ramires giving the ball away)

Partly that, and partly his club trying to get the most out of him.
His downfall has been quite incredible for the last year and a half. In 2011 he was dubbed as the next big thing, then he was shite last season, then Rennes refused over £20M this summer, then he got a ridiculous ban from the french federation.

He is being nothing but absolute class for Chelsea for over a decade. Hands down the greatest player in the modern history of the club.
He stood by every manager (even Scolari) bar AVB who was (and still is, see the GK mess earlier this season with Tottenham) atrocious at managing a group.
And now the club won't even OFFER him a contract ? How in hell could the fans be mad at him ? What is he supposed to do, stay with Chelsea without a contract ?
This is very different from the RVP situation. He was offered a new contract by Arsenal, which he refused
