Seems abit excessive, when you consider that Barton got 12 match ban for 3 counts of violent conduct. Ah well, wouldn't surprise me if he was gone in the summer anyway.

It's the second hime in his career he's suspended for that particular offense, 6 the first time, 10 the second, makes sense to me.

Doing it once is already brainless, doing it again is beyond comprehension.

What did Drogba say again? It's a fucking disgrace?

The man shouldn't be on the pitch, and in the SEVENTH minute of stoppage time.

It's a fucking disgrace.

The City game was already an insult, but this is beyond limits.

Embarrassing.

My hometown club (Croix de Savoie FC, or their current bullshit name Evian-Thonon-Gaillard FC) just eliminated PSG from the French Cup 4-1 on penalties, with horrid misses from Zlatan and Silva (which makes it even sweeter)

SUCK IT LEONARDO. SUCK IT.

Sunderland as I put money on them a few weeks ago.

Same. I can't stand Di Canio as well.

As for tonight

That'd be great

Would be funny if he get the nod, considering he didn't make it the year he got 21 goals and 17 assists

I still can't believed that happened. The guy was 3rd 5th top scorer and top of the assist table, key component in the best attack in Premierleague history and somehow not in the Best XI.

Oh, and this;

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/hbuAy9meqyDgssTjtaAct9OcvqfzN948Kjc9xfZl.gif

The gif is great, but the scene in the episode is downright idiotic. Really symbolic of what the show has become. 'There is a Time and a Place for Subtlety, and That Time Was Before...Season 3'

And yeah, Season 3 went progressively to awfulness, firmly brought down by the Chang storyline and this godamn Inspector Spacetime crap. The only redeeming things in Season 3 are Remedial Chaos Theory and Annie in Regional Holiday Music (which I now give to people I introduce the show as the series final episode, kinda like Dexter's fourth season or Scrubs's Season 8)

I rumble way to much about this It was a great show, and all the shit of the last two seasons won't take away the greatness of the first two.

And besides, there's plenty of great comedies running at the moment : Louie, Archer, Parks & Rec, The League, Legit is pretty good and AD is coming back

I would have agreed if it wasn't for last week atrocious episode.

The documentary format is utterly useless, and the script is a shitty re-hash of previous episodes with Chang in the middle.

And the tag to finish it off...Fits right in the "Worst episodes of Community" top-list

This week episode was better, still forced, completely predictable with a weak resolution, but at least done in the right way.

Given how Arsenal fans are abusing Gervinho and Ramsey, I cannot imagine how that would go for his 'confidence'

Going to the game tomorrow, with the NextGen game vs Juventus just before at Griffin Park.

He doesn't take them very often does he?

Can't remember the last time I've seen him take a peno.

He scored one at Sunderland earlier this season, his only try with Chelsea prior to last night

That was the best episode of the new season imo.

Yeah it was still heavily flawed (the Chang storyline, bringing back the Germans but not Nick Kroll made no sense, the Abed-german stuff utterly pointless, the Winger speeches are getting worse and worse), but at least it had some kind of ressemblence of the first two seasons. Kicking them out of the room was a good idea, to bad they half-assed the resolution

I'm not saying they personally fired those managers, neither am I saying they were entirely to blame - especially Mourinho and Grant - but it's undeniable the influence wielded by the back-bone of the team Cech, Cole, Terry, Lampard and Drogba played a part in the departure of several of those managers, in particular Scolari and AVB.

Scolari blamed Cech, Drogba and Ballack iirc, he had the trust of Terry and Lampard

And regarding Cech it was more against his coach (Lollichon)

The influence of the backbone on the sacking of managers is :always blown out of proportions
And miserable compared to the influence of the backbone on the success of the club

If John Terry and co hadn't been allowed to consistently try (and succeed) to get manager's sacked, then this wouldn't have been anywhere near as bad (for him or for the last few managers).

That's bullshit.

You're telling me they fired Mourinho ? Grant ? Scolari ? Ancellotti ? Di Matteo ?

The only one you can make a case for is AVB, who handled the thing poorly from the first day

Benitez's situation was worse from the get go, it's entirely and solely on Roman.

Avram Grant did alright at Chelsea. He was within one post's-width of winning the Champions League and if the league season had started when he joined then they would have beaten Manchester United to the title that year (if I remember correctly). Still, his career dropped off considerably once he left.

Like Di Matteo, he understood the importance of giving responsability to the engine Mourinho had created.

Chelsea also lost in the League Cup final agaist the Spurs after going 1-0 up (dat Drogba free-kick), and the league came down to the final game

Season 3 was pretty shite anyway tbh. I really like 1, and 2 has some great moments, but it's definitely been downhill from there.

Yep

They called it too.
