The cut-out facepack and logo's will work but there is a problem with FM08 reading large config files. I can't remeber what the exact limit is but it's around 15,000-20,000 lines.

So to be able to use them fully you need to split these packs up into separate folders so that they don't contain more then 15,000 images and then use FMXML or FM Graphics Configurator to create new config files for each folder.

The other Pierluigi Casiraghi is a head scout at Inter, his age in FM is incorrect (I think you might find that his DOB is blank in the editor so it just randomly generates it) as I don't think that information is available.

Great work as usual with the megapack cut out pics, i've only noticed one mistake so far. Pierluigi Casiraghi (UID 43002287) seems to have the wrong picture, unless he has aged considerably since the last time i saw him.

It is the correct picture, there are 2 Pierluigi Casiraghi's in FM, the ex-Lazio/Chelsea player has the UID 8433.

Thanks a lot for all ur help an reply lads,but all the right boxes are ticked/unticked and I even cleared the cache. I just can't understand how its naw working its driving me mad,it bloody just teased me the other night by letting me see how good it looks lol

Have you downloaded update 5.3 yet? It might be worth doing as it will provide you with the latest config file.

As I play FM08, and have to split the megapack up, I have to go through the images manually before moving them into the correct folders and that image appears again with the ID 6300469 - Ricardo Veron.

You have about 109,000 faces missing from your Megapack! I think you may have downloaded one of the "update packs" instead of the "complete pack".

That all looks fine, just double check that you have the right boxes ticked/unticked in your Interface section of Preferences menu.

That looks about right so I'm not sure why it's not working. Are you sure that you have your "Faces" folder in the Sports Interactive folder in Documents/Sports Interactive/FM13?

Thanks for the reply...I only checked a few teams' players, but an example would be Andrea Bertolacci's ID is 43028376

when I find it it explorer it shows like this

(hope the quality is okay)

As you can see most of the faces load up, but the ones that don't load up in Windows Explorer correspond with the faces that don't load up in the game....hope this makes sense, thanks again!

It looks like this may not have extracted properly, I would suggest trying it again using winRAR.

This pack does not work at all. I've asked many people who have downloaded this pack and they are all stumped as they followed the exact steps as I did, only it worked for them and doesn't for me.

I downloaded the latest pack moved the faces folder in my Graphics folder (which is in the Documents/Sports Interactive/FM13 folders) went on prefrences, unticked the first box, ticked the last three and clicked Reload Skin. A logo pack which I downloadedf from a different site worked but this pack didn't. Furthermore, it's deleted the other players with faces, such as the players from the K-League and the Championship, for example.

Any help?

Which pack did you download? If this is the first time you've downloaded the Megapack you need to download the complete pack which is over 5GB and contains over 120,000 images.

Hi metal boon thanks for replying, its just the default black faces , I've got over 110k faces in my faces folder in the graphics folder ,it was working fine Tuesday nite once i finished extracting them I had them in all seperate folders at first but moved them all into the one faces folder.

The first thing to check is if you have a config file in your faces folder. If you do it should just over 8mb in size.

If you don't have the config file or it's smaller in size than 8mb then you can either;

1. Download update pack 5.2 as this will have the latest config file in it.

2. Or download FMXML (use the search function to find the download link) and you can create your own.

Do you have blank spaces where the players faces should be or are they the default black ones?

If they are the default black faces you probably have the wrong config file in your folder. The config file in your Megapack folder should be over 8mb in size.

Hi hammer9,

I have a quick question I hope that you can help me with? On previous versions of FM (08-12) it was possible to add extra lines to the config file to allow kits to appear on the tactics and match overview screen (I've posted a screen shot from FM08 to show what I mean). As I don't have FM13 I wondered if this was still possible?

No problem.

I'm using Windows Vista and the process was pretty straight forward for me, what version of Windows are you using & what else did you have to do? I only ask so that if anyone else has the same problem we have a solution!

I've tried it tonnes of times, any ideas please??

Just follow the advice from the above post, but search for "MSVCR70.dll" instead. As these programs were written a few years ago, probably for Windows XP/Vista you will find several ".dll" files are missing on newer versions of Windows.

There are 2 ways of adding new images to the megapack;

1. The easiest is to use FMXML or FM Graphics Configurator, the chances are that you're getting "MFC70.DLL is missing" when you attempt to run it. If so, this can be downloaded (just Google search for a site to download the file) to fix the problem.

or;

2. Open the config file in your megapack with Notepad and insert this line to it;

<record from="UID" to="graphics/pictures/person/UID/portrait"/>

Just replace the parts in red with the players UID.

I've had this problem before, just Google "MFC70.DLL download" and you should find a few sites where you can download this from. All you have to do is unzip the file and put it in C:\Windows\System32.

This should fix the problem.
