Databasemas is now upon us! Work has begun on extra files for our annual data update and as always I know you're all keen to help out. Please use this this thread to post information for club changes (i.e. new affiliate links, sponsorship deals, board takeovers, facility upgrades etc).

The update/s will be part of the normal Data update click on link below
and then use the download link there[follow the instructions too How to install a Football Manager Data Update] to have all the extra files[its up to you what file/s you use]

Unfortunately the game no longer accepts XML files when starting a new game. So we need to manually create FMF files.
Use the following instructions:
Download the XML File
Open the Pre Game Editor
Click: File > Import and select the downloaded XML file
Click: File > Save As and save the file as "sortitoutsi.net Data Update - Changes"
Use the form below to Upload the FMF file

Is the part here about XML files not working, still relevant? As the Update download page doesn't mention this part at all?

Hi, in the game Nathaniel Phillips is for some reason listed as Nathan Phillips. It's definitely Nathaniel though! Can that be fixed?

Hey,

Bugged me for the last year that Nathaniel Phillips for Liverpool is in the game as Nathan Phillips. It's definitely Nathaniel! I've tried submitting the change to the update but it was rejected. Just wondering if anyone knew why this was?
