For those struggling to get the game to work with this mod post update 

 

Try 

 

Remove the files from \steamapps\common\Football Manager 26, 

 

Opening the game and loading your save.

 

Save it again and then close game down

 

Re add the files back to \steamapps\common\Football Manager 26

 

Load game

Somewhat , for some reason the adboards seemed to work around the pitch but up in the stands were blank. I created the file route for the steam/steam apps as per the guidelines.

I ended up actually getting a laptop and it all works fine on that.

I believe there were some issues that just weren’t able to be fixed. It was reported officially as a fault and hopefully will be looked out for the new game roll out.

Hi StuartNG, did you ever mange to iron this issue out regarding ad boards / video ad boards for iPad ? Think I’m having the same issues regarding the path for the simatch_uncmpressed folder and where to put it on iTunes

Can you please clarify two points.

Firstly, I have downloaded the zip file but can’t find the ...
"simatchviewer_uncompressed" folder ......

I’ve found the other two and put them where directed. Just can’t find the folder for the video ads. As it is I don’t connect to Steam, I am not sure if this would work anyway. Was wondering if they could be placed in my graphics folder area?

Also I plan to re-load the graphics and skin to iTunes and then pick a new skin that hasn’t been used before. Should this suffice to see the changes, or does it need a complete new re-install of the game on my iPad?

Hi all, hoping someone can help...

I’m running fm touch 20 on iPad and uploading files across via iTunes from my PC.

Im struggling with ad boards - just getting the blacked out boards.
I’ve downloaded all the files and updates in order and merged any updates. As far as I can see ive uploaded all the files to the relevant paths. I’ve also chosen and inserted the clubs fm.xml file for the Football Manager 2020/ads path


The only one I’m struggling to find is the appropriate path for the video ads/ HD SD in the steam/steamapps path as there isn’t the relevant one on iTunes and wondered if this might be the issue?

ie "simatchviewer_uncompressed" folder (this contains the video ads) into the "data" folder within your Steam installation folder (which is not located in the area of the first two folders):
steam > steamapps > common > Football Manager 2020 > data


Also, for iPad is this classes as macOSX files or still windows files in the downloads?


great work on the ads, I’ve used them practically every year just seem to be struggling this time round
