Looked around a little more in J-League CA changes and there is more. Other examples are: Gaku Shibasaki, his CA has dropped to 87. He is a starting player for Kashima Antlers and has 60 caps for Japan. Yan Matheus, Yokohama F.M. dropped CA to 100, also a starting player with 75 J-League games to his resumé. 

Maybe all Japanese leagues are affected by these unrealistic changes? Would it be possible to just erase all Japanese CA/PA changes for the time being, until you have the time to sort it out properly?

@TheMinsterman @Footygamer Just noticed there are some heavily messed up CA's in Urawa Reds (J-League Japan). 

For example Samuel Gustafson has dropped from 137 to 92 and Marius Hoibraten from 124 to 86. Surely must be by mistake or some bug?

Gustafson was and should be their best player.

Makes me wonder how common these weird unrealistic CA changes are. Is this possible for you guys to check? 

I was really looking forward to start a new career now with your recent CA/PA and new player updates. Sadly I just can't use these updates after what I just discovered 😢

The ability changes are in the “Non Dynamic Data” file.

In your screenshot you have not checked that file.

You have the same file in your download here on Sortitoutsi. But it's not the same size as the one from Steam. So which one is most up to date?

Oremo is not released on free transfer. He even scored two goals for Ängelholm yesterday:

The files must be placed in this directory without any sub-folders

C:\Users\your user name\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2023\editor data

Then you should be able to select new nations and leagues.

@Ben0404 Delete them from C:\Users\your username\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2023\editor data (this is on PC, so find the equivalent path on your Mac). You can untick them instead of deleting, if you find them when setting up the game.

The exact file names are:

“sortitoutsi.net FM23 Data Update - Missing Players & Non-Players”

“sortitoutsi.net FM23 Data Update - Updated Ages and Contracts by 1 year”

You will need to remove some files. Remove these:

• Missing players and staff
• Player age 1 year & contract length 

Then you will also have to decide between some of the realism files or data update files. You will see which files are getting the warning triangle. Either choose the league files (correct promotions/relegations) or the optimized files (faster game speed). Same thing with the Italy rules fix file. Just untick the ones you don't prefer over the others. 

For me I also have to untick Belgium League and Iceland optimized files, even though they don't have any warning. Otherwise those leagues are not playable.

If Al-Ettifaq (Gerrard,  maybe Henderson) or Al-Ahli Saudi FC (Firmino, Mendy) are missing, maybe consider adding as big clubs with gov.sponsorhip?

Had the same problem with default US league. So I think it might be caused by some US teams being “fake” due to licensing issues.

The problem was sorted after I downloaded this custom US database.

Swedish 4th tier (Division 2) is not available when using the Optimized league file for Sweden. The 4th tier is available in the game otherwise.

It's for increased up to date realism. Correct clubs in the 22/23 UEFA competitions. Players being at their new clubs at their real life age and the real year. Economic aspects of cups, promotions, relegations taking affect the correct year. All in all I think it gives the most realistic and enjoyable experience. 

I understand you guys put tons of effort and time into your mods/updates and I'm very grateful for your work. I myself have no idea how to create these types of updates. So if it's an easy fix to have a separate Data update with real life dates, you know this best. If it requires lots of work I totally understand if you will not bother doing it. I appreciate your work either way 🙂 

I'm having the same issue when using custom start date with real results to make the game like “FM23”. Until this change I had the perfect “FM23” experience. Is there anyway to fix this @BramNUFC ? Would it be possible to release two different files, where one is without the change in dates?
