So this is the beginning of my story with FK Sarajevo. Not much to know about my decision to take on this very hard challenge, but i remenber Sarajevo for 1984 Olympics and also because i love the Balkans region. With so much quality and so few infra-structures, its up to me to rise the name of Bosnia to European and World dominance. FK Sarajevo is the 6th more successful in the former Yugoslavian Premier League. They have an old but very nice stadium and they are one the best teams in the country. But they havent got the titles to show it. So my aim will be to build a strong team to be the dominant force in Bosnia and also in the Balkans. I have introduced the Mitropa Cup for that matter, and also hope to try to get to the Champions League Group Stages in the 3rd of 4th season.



At the moment im still trying things, its very early in the season but after some signings (Daniel Martinez is awesome) i think we are building something nice here. I also had to sell 3 key players in order to make money to sign players.



You guys will be able to make the most of this series, because i will be posting about good and unknow players that you dont know about and that are perfect for challenges like this.



The season looks good at the moment, but its too early to say.



Nevertheless just managed to beat Hayduk in Europa League and now will face Gent on 3rd Qual. Round. Cant wait for this, and will post about that on my story first episode on youtube (i will leave the link here).

So preseason went well, i know the teams i played against were not of a big challenge, but did managed to put a good performance on the 1st friendly against karpaty of ukraine and win 3-1.
My tactic is now set, players seem to like and to be adapted as you can see from the results. I score a lot of goals, but also concede due to my young age defenders and lack of experience. The only defeat so far, was against rudar on the 2 leg of 2 round of europa league after i win 5-0 at home. I put a second line team to give them minutes.
Got to say that the 3-3 open day fixture against Rijeka was na epic.

Manage to due some nice signings but due to the precarious financial situation of the club i cant afford to do any more players in, because i have the risk of bankrupcy upon me. Did some fast sales to get some easy Money, all with players that the bili supports would not mind seing going away from hajduk.

A good surprise has been Elvir Maloku, 17 years old and seems to be my star player if he can handle the pressure during the season.

So my first adventure as a manager starts in the beautifull city of Split in Croatia, with Hajduk Split a strong team in the 1970´s. A former yugoslavian club that when it was all apart of the same championship was a very strong one with the likes of red star, partizan and dínamo, all former european cup winners and also finalists.
I arrive in Split to see a team hardly with no experience players and also old players apart from my captain Mario Maloca, no one knows what it is to play for hajduk for more than 2 years at a senior level. The fact of the croatian league has no competition, no known players and there is no Money, good players are difficult to attract to my team. But i will employ my own scouting abilities and with my calendar of friendlies along side, i will put a strong team to attack the league and go for financial survival and therefore be abble to buy medium high quality players next season.
