My first save on FM22, started unemployed being hired by Villarreal mid-season. Used another 4231 for 3 seasons with decent results at first. 1st season won the spanish cup and finished 5th, 2nd season finished 4th, but 3rd season it all fell apart. Struggled all season, changed tactics several times and finished, with some luck and my job seriously questioned, 8th place.

 

Continued to struggle and changed to “RDF's 4231 Perfect” mid pre-season with instant results. Won the spanish cup again, and finished 2nd behind Barcelona. I lost many points in matches i should have won because of lineup mistakes, draws against the likes of Tenerife, Elche, Celta Vigo, Malaga and two defeats against Eibar, could have been champion, with Villarreal.

 

All in all, great tactic, looking forward to next season.
