Seen the post in the other thread - but hadn't had a chance to reply, yet. All the same, I'll reply to this one as it is probably a better fit.

 

Just to confirm: I simply haven't got around to doing an update of the worldwide transfer embargoes file (in FM24), which is why that's a bit out-of-date. It's on the to-do list and will get sorted out in the coming days/week or so. I think I may have stripped out the restrictions in FM26 directly via the England file - because we haven't built a dedicated ‘transfer embargoes’ file as part of that Data Update.

 

When I sort it at a point in time in the coming days/week, I'll make a consistent approach for both to keep things neat.

That’s great. Like I say, it’s been quite the year to follow the club so I just wondered if it was something that had been missed amongst all the noise! Glad to hear it’s on the list but no rush.

Cross posting from the updates thread, but figure this might be a better place;

 

Theres been a lot going on at Sheffield Wednesday over the last 12 months and I can see that the latest update does factor in new ownership - but the administration restrictions are still in place and extremely severe. As it stands at the moment, the database doesn’t allow you to sign any attached players until September of the following year (even loans), with wages limited to about 4k a week. In reality, based on the real world business Wednesday are actually doing, neither of these are true.

 

Is it possible to have these restrictions lifted from the update? Wednesday should be a really fun rebuild save idea based on real world circumstances and the current state of the squad, with tons of room in the squad to still make signings, but that’s massively impeded by the current restrictions.
