This is great tactic. I've used it for 3 seasons now for Scarborough Athletic. First season at National North League 46-36-5-5 113 p winner and promoted. Second season National League 46-32-11-3 107 p winner and promoted. Third season League 2 46-25-16-5 91 p, second and promoted. Can't wait next season in League 1.

Now the fourth season (League 1) is over, 2nd place with 89 points and another promotion. Last two season the team have been ranked about 20th but still managed to finish second. I made little tuning with the tactic because the first away games didn't work at all (1 draw and 3 defeats). After 8 games (8-2-3-3 9 points) I changed to “balanced” at home and to “cautious” in away games → 24-14-6-4 48 p. And after that is was a struggle until the end and 2nd place was confirmed in the last round.

Next season in the Championship will be tough. Pre season is going on now. All the players are League 1 or lower level. No good yet cheap loan players are available anymore. And my “star” players are demanding huge pay rises. Players who have contract left year or two about 1.500 - 2.500 per week want to get 8.000 -11.000. I don't know what to do with them. Hopefully things get better when the season starts.
