It’s seems that it’s not possible to use this fix with the new quick start World Cup mode. It doesn’t seem to load the editor files when selecting this mode. Am I missing something? Thanks for this and any info.

are you sure? during my save for example the german national team got changed back to the generated player team even tough when i started the game a few days back it worked fine with your file. So seems like the latest FM patch did change something…

I also have the Napoli issue and since re-applying the fix the German & Japanese team issue has returned.

Any ideas?
