#672829 Retro Kits
JTSB
Thank you so much for having a go at these! I just have a few thoughts for where they could be improved if that's OK? All completely constructive of course!
Please take all this constructively and don't think I'm not grateful for you having a bash at it for me!

Hey @Stevow74, hope you're well buddy. Not sure whether you saw my request in the quoted post, but I have some more for you if that's ok! I'm sure you're busy and still have a backlog, so no rush and more than happy to wait a little given the quality fo the Southend ones you made for me the other week!
2000-01 Home and Away - manufactured by Pier Sports (not in template packs as far as I can see)
2001-02 Home and Away - manufactured by Hi-Tec (not in template packs as far as I can see)
2002-03 Home, Away and Third - manufactured by Sport House (SHO) (not in template packs as far as I can see)
Thanks so much buddy.
#663485 SS' Official Kits Thread (NO REQUESTS)

Hey @bolid74, hope you're well! Great job with the Vanarama National shirts. Southend have recently released a third kit. I wasn't sure if you had done it already but couldn't find it when I did a search. It's exactly the same template as the home and away kits.

Man, I hope you get a moment to appreciate your own work, because these are just awesome. How did you manage to get the sponsors, club badge and manufacturers logos so clear? Excellent work, can't thank you enough!
Would it be easy to make a 3rd version of the 1998/99 Progressive one for me? I stumbled across some highlights of Scunthorpe v Southend from 98/99 on Youtube the other day, and Southend were wearing an interesting 3rd shirt which was only worn twice that season and never went on general sale. Difficult to get a good photo of it, but see below. Collar is the same as the red away shirt, but the sponsor is in black. The right sleeve and the strip that runs over the right shoulder is grey, and the left sleeve is red along with the top of the 3 dashes on the left shoulder - but the bottom 2 dashes stay black. It's quite a smart shirt and the same template, would you be able to rustle it up if/when you have time please?
Also wondering how easy it would be to put the much better version of the club badge that you have, onto the white Olympic/Telewest shirt from 1997/98 that you managed to find for me a few weeks back (attached)……the version of the badge used on it just bugs me!
Your work is fantastic. I'm hoping to get a few more requests to you soon if that's ok. I'm sure you still have a sizeable backlog but, again, happy to wait considering the high standard of these!
EDIT: I've come across the 3rd Progressive shirt from 98/99 that I'd like, but in a very old version of the SS kits. I've attached below. It's almost right, but looks to me from the photo that the collar should be black like the one on the red away version) and, as I already mentioned, looks like the top of the 3 left shoulder dashes is red.

Thanks bud, always been interested in football kits - Southend first of course, but in general kits of the 1990s and early-mid 2000s. Happy to sit back and let you have a go at them when you can. Your work is great, including these ones! The ones I've asked for are the highest on my list, but there are some more retro Southend ones that I might ask you politely to make for me eventually!

Holy hell these are great, and so close! Do these ones exist as templates too? They're just missing the Telewest Communications logo on the blue and red shirts, looks like someone had a go using a more modern sponsor (we were sponsored by Insureandgo 2006-2014, over a decade after the Telewest shirts). Annoying quirky difference between the Telewest logo used on the white shirt, and the logo used on the blue and red ones though:
Club badge is slightly wrong too, but don't know how easy that would be to put right! The one used on the real kits had a slightly longer banner under the shield than the one used on these SS kits. This version of Southend's badge is so hard to find on the Internet though. I found this one in the form of an old Panini sticker!:
Are they things you feel you could have a go at if you have the time?

Ah so close! So the top one is definitely Olympic. Full company name is Olympic Sportswear and they trialled a different logo for a season or two, resulting in the ‘OS’ logo on that shirt (which is from the season after the blue and yellow custard splat one). Really good template, just lacking the little black ‘V' underneath the collar and the accurate OS logo. And the Progressive Printing sponsor obviously!
Rossco was definitely a separate company. We used them for one season and around the same time, they were making kits for Welsh rugby teams and Irish football clubs like Glentoran and Linfield. Looks like they went bust in 2015!

Evening folks! Would any clever soul be able to make these retro Southend United shirts for me please?
