Yeah Di Maria has been muck. Our movement has been pretty poor up front and just leads to us passing it around outside their box for ages and ultimately getting nowhere. Falcao has been doing plenty of running but not really getting the service, though to be honest the couple of times he has actually got the ball he has usually just ran into the nearest defender anyway.

Too easy for Golovkin, barely had to get out of 2nd gear. Be surprised if this goes on much longer, just a case of when Golovkin wants to finish him off, might wanna get some rounds in first.

GGG is quality, he should be ruling the world but is being held back by the fact no one wants to go near him. He's actually a fantastic boxer but that gets little attention because on top of that he has obscene power. The complete fighter.

Yeah I have no idea about how the laws of interference work but it definitely looked dodgy. I think the fact he quite plainly acknowledged and signalled that he wasn't gonna go for the ball helped him but yeah of course the keeper is gonna assume he'll make a move for it. But yeah every single one of our games devolves into long balls into Fellaini it's horrid, and completely baffling given the creative players we have.

We just seem to have no plan at all. We get about halfway into PNE's half and seem to run out of ideas. Blind, Herrera and Rooney have been alright and the defence for the little they've had to do. But Fellaini, Falcao and Di Maria have been particularly poor.

The free games with gold are the ones that are a month long. The price discounts are usually anywhere between 3/4 days and a week. I really wanted Far Cry too but even with the reduction im just way too skint at the minute.

The best I remember us playing is the first half against Spurs. The second half though we were utter toilet.

Yeah as far as im aware Glen Hoddle does the vast majority of the training. While he's sat in his office wheelin' and dealin' and creating bank accounts for dogs and such.

My favourite memory from that era is the introduction of Kane. It was so badass and the mystery of who/what he was was pretty great and he was just destroying everything. Instantly became one of my favourite characters. Its painful to look at him now. I miss the Big Red Machine

When I first got into football it was back in 2001-02 when that was the choice. I got into it after the farce that was the 7pm start with Townsend's Tactics Truck though. But I've heard legendary things about how fucking awful it is. Maybe I liked it because Des Lynam was such a commanding presence as the host.

Maybe its because I wasn't aware of the history or the idea you could have it without adverts, but when it reverted back to Match of the Day in 2004 I was quite thrown for a little while. But now, for all it faults - and I still tend to skip the analysis or zone out during it - it is still a better place.

the slightly older of us will remember Lynam presenting MOTD, always thought he was a great host

iirc the girl didn't claim she got raped and actually had no idea she had done anything with Evans. It was the police that decided on the rape charge after the fact upon finding out what had happened. But yeah overall i agree with terriersmad.

He's shown little remorse, the behaviour of his supporters has been disgusting and the girlfriends family are scum. No doubt he will sign with someone eventually but if I certainly believe that he shouldn't be playing professional football, the vast majority of careers wouldn't re-hire a rapist so why should football be any different.
