I want Germany to win too. They are the better team, have played better throughout and I also know it will annoy me if Argentina win and everyone is licking Messi's arse, Maradona comparisons etc When in reality he's been pretty average all tournament bar the Nigeria game when they were already through.

When most people mentioned his name before his appointment it was mainly as a stop gap for a few years, to steady the ship and begin a rebuild until someone like Klopp comes available. Ultimately though presuming he does a decent job he'll leave whenever he wants to.

Liverpool arent being punished. The player is, he just happens to play for Liverpool. Its his 3rd bloody offence, in 3 different competitions. A blanket ban is the absolute right thing to do, although it should be either longer or take effect once the season starts seeing as about a month and a half of his ban he won't be playing anyway.

Read last night that Herrera had passed a medical or something?

I've heard lots about him naturally but i've only ever seen him play 2 or 3 times. I'm assuming many of you on here might've seen a lot more of him than me so what are your thoughts on it? Good buy or not? Though I suppose at this point buying any midfielder is a good thing

He's always been one of those tipped to be very good from when he was young and when he joined Arsenal I remember him actually being pretty good until he started getting injured all the time. Can certainly remember him scoring a few as well. I wouldnt be gutted or anything but he definitely wasn't someone I would have wanted or expected.

wow...I honestly hope Van Gaal see's something in him that we have all missed because this doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence at all. I assume its because Miranda is too expensive or w/e?
