Hahahaha get in

On a serious note though. What does a Barca player have to do to get sent off?

I know it was inevitable they would but I really cant see Atleti lasting the whole half playing this defensively. They do it better than anyone but it never works for them against Barca.

Atmosphere is ridiculous though, I love it.

Why was Fellani standing on the line instead of marking Andy Carroll? Do they not think logically it'd make sense to get him to mark Carroll?

Smalling is/was good enough. He's very good in the air - he just completely lost his run. I reckon if Fellaini was marking him he'd just end up getting sent off as Carroll would give as many elbows as he gets and Fellaini would lose discipline

I think West Ham have forgot they had Carroll playing tonight, can't remember them putting any crosses or long balls in at all. Just loads of short passing and shots from distance.

Oh and occasionally Antonio and Lanzini attempting to just try and run past everyone and inevitably running into Carrick or Smalling.

Still time for us to mess it up like.

No chance we'd beat Barca over two legs, I'd have serious doubts over 90 minutes. I'd prefer Madrid ahead of Bayern or Barca, they're the most flawed.

You'd be best of with Barca in the final aye. Over 90 mins anything can happen, over 2 legs more often than not superiority shines through. Real/Wolfsburg is a prime example

Great goal De Bruyne.

PSG have been so poor.

Yeah PSG have been there for the taking. Solid defensive performance and City deserve it.
Madird 3-2 up now, Ronaldo with his 3rd. Not half bad that fella

Whatever you think about Fury he's several orders of magnitude better than anyone AJ has fought until now.

Aye I'm not denying that...but at the same time the only person Fury has fought that is above the standard of AJ's opponents too is Klitschko... maybe Chisora at a push but he has always been overrated because he is British too. Anyway my point is Fury's previous 20 something opponents were all that standard too and he looked a lot less impressive in getting past them. He doesn't have that great a chin and has been put down a few times in his career by domestic level journeymen, his technique is poor and sloppy and he has nowhere near as much power as someone his size should. However his defence has drastically improved.

He obviously gets credit for beating Klitschko, its a great achievement and no-one really expected it, but i think the majority of the reason for that was him not showing up or giving Fury too much respect - i mean he barely threw a punch the whole fight whilst Fury just erratically bounced around barely throwing punches either. If Klitschko still has the hunger he should win the rematch comfortably... but if not Fury will get found out against the likes of Povetkin, Wilder, Haye and AJ. Boxers who I feel have better technique, punch variety, boxing skills and would have no fear of Fury. The main reason I think AJ would beat him now is simply the power aspect. I feel like Joshua could take Fury's punches all night, whereas Fury's best hope would be to try and avoid them like he did with Klitschko... only Joshua is younger, more mobile and hungrier and would be confident in his power. He'd only need a couple to connect and it would be over.

Yeah, Fury's got bigger things to worry about at the minute. Can't see AJ rushing to fight him anyway, might as well earn a few million more pummelling bums in front of sell out crowds before taking on a real fighter

Heard rumours of a Dylan White rematch, which will be a huge let-down, and I don't think his team will resist the urge of smashing either Dereck Chisora or David Haye into the middle of next week.

I really really can't see how the club would want to keep LVG for another year. It makes no sense at all. There should be no doubt in him going, its baffling.

Rashford, Martial, Lingard, Mata are looking far too lightweight against this Spurs defence. Getting pushed off the ball constantly with ease and their only tactic seems to be running straight into them and losing the ball.

On the plus side the defence has been very good, especially Fosu-Mensah. It seems we can only do one or the other.

Loved the Villa fans phoning in to have a go at Robbie Savage after he said they were the worst team in Premier League history! Think he has some gall after the Derby team he played in finished with less points than this current Villa team and I think were arguably worse.

That Derby team just got promoted way too early and were nowhere near good enough. They at least tried in all their games from what I remember and kept fighting. This Villa side haven't seemed arsed since day one.

Leicester result was great, can't see it slipping from them now. If we take anything off Spurs then its over for sure.

We really need to capitalize on Demichelis and get another goal before they see sense and take him off. Don't trust us at all to keep a clean sheet.

Oh wait nvm

Southampton slowly creeping up behind Man City, West Ham & Man Utd. Only four points off of 4th now, can't rule them out.

Who'd have thought the race for 4th would ever be so interesting
