We are moving to our own forums effective immediately, this is something we need to do to allow us to be an independent self hosted and self ran fan site.

Id like to thank everyone at Sortitoutsi, especially the admin Rob for his awesome support setting us up here for last couple of months and to all the staff & community members for making us feel welcome

#12194 Standing Down as Update Manager

Just to let you know im standing down as Manager of the WeeGiE update, going to take a back seat for a while as got so much going on with work at the minute so not really got time to do much editing. Ill still be around and be the voice of FM WeeGiE as well as managing content of the website and stuff. It was quite a hard decision but because i know I have 5 experienced editors for FM13 I know the update will still be good quality.
Hopefully going to add a different dimension to FM WeeGiE this year using the update as a base for things like custom/super leagues and things which obviously need
Anyway I'm pleased to leave the update in Luke's (metal_guitarist from SI Forums) capable hands and he will take over the day to day management of the update dealing with all enquiries, support via the forums, organisation, recruitment and release of the update, you can email him with any problems regarding the update [email protected]
I still have my email address so you can contact me if you need anything non database related on [email protected]

I have therefore installed a support ticket system so now when you click on the contact us button on the website www.fmweegie.co.uk it will take the user to the Help Desk page where users can browse our knowledge base with answers to common questions, if they can't find the answer they raise a support ticket which any member of staff can deal with (I have created an account for everyone - details to follow)
The support ticket is for the following topics
- Download
- Installation
- Technical issues & Crashes
- Data/Research
- Website/Forum
- Jobs
- General Enquiry
Dealing with Support Tickets
- You should receive an email saying there is a new support ticket
- Log into the admin panel click here
- Click on the tacking ID
- At the top you have several drop down boxes
Change Status to - you can mark it as replied,
Move ticket to - You can change the category (listed above) if the user selected the wrong one
Change priority - Critical, High or Low
Assign to - You can assign tickets to certain staff if you can't help
- Scroll to the bottom and fill in the message to reply
- You can close the ticket by ticking the box (only do this once the user is happy with his reply)
Tickets will auto close after 2 days after last staff reply so don't worry if you forget to close a ticket.

Thank you for your support this year, we have amassed 10k downloads inside four months which we are very pleased about, however we are not planning any more updates for FM2012 so please do not post data issues.
See you for FM2013, we are all off for a well deserved break!
