The new file have all the player names translation including the newest transfers and realistic fixtures for hong kong premier league, first, second and third division. It also includes the reserve league that wasn't included in older versions

I simulated until 01/ 01/ 2024, since some foreign player's contract ends at 31/12/2023, I checked Kitchee, Lee Man, Eastern and Resource Capital and found out  only Kitchee's 丹恩奴域 and RCFC's 栢保羅 are the only foreign players to be released. It is known fact that AI HKPL clubs in FM23 only register at most 5 foreign players because HKPL rule restrict at most 5 foreign players to be on the pitch at all times. Club's registration can't be controlled by me, I can only control the registration rules and competition rules. Those players that aren't registered tend to leave more likely, this might be one of the cause of foreign players leaving.

Also, in newer versions of the mod 香港足球mod (香港足球backup is older version), finances of HKPL clubs have been changed to reflect real world more and now all HKPL clubs have stronger financial muscle, so newer versions should see less foreign players leaving.

I just started a save loaded with only my mod (on the newest version) and only Hong Kong database simulated to 30/06/2026

Lee Man signed a new player called Caion who is a foreign player that never played in HK before

He joined on 2025/26 season

One more example from Kitchee, they signed Ella Benedettini

He joined on 2024/25

The problem is most likely not on the version of mod, the number of countries that you loaded in database or that I went on holiday in the save. I have a save that only loaded an older version of the mod in which I played HKU23 and only went on holiday for 3 days (Just flexing XD)

In this game Kitchee also signed foreign players that never played in HK, the earliest came in on 2023/24 season, other joined on 2024/25 season

I think the problem is most foreign players aren't signed early on save, most joined on 2024/25 season, earliest joined on 2023/24. So if you haven't played until the third season, it is not that likely that you see clubs importing foreign players. However, if this is not the case, can you give me more information on your save?

Already updated, there will be another update at start of march, which is mainly FM winter update and some changes to hong kong first division, hong kong second division and hong kong third division. If you don't play those leagues then it will be ideal for you to start save now rather than waiting

This is a fix to the club logos for a mod that is posted in steam, which is a mod that introduces the whole hierarchy of Hong Kong football with chinese player names, so it really isn't intended for non Chinese players
