It doesn't matter how good your players are ffs, 90% of the goals ive conceded in one way or another come from a cross, though it is usually directly some may take a deflection of a player or hit the bar along the way etc. Though Franck doesn't seem to find it a problem...


Another thing i've noticed is the amount of long range shots that are flying in, against me of course.

I concede a huge number from set pieces/crosses. When a player gets in at the near/far post it results in a goal a lot of the time and that works both ways. There's also a huge number of disallowed goals. LB/RB's aren't effective and the 'keepers make stupid mistakes. I'm sure this will be tweaked though.

I decided to go for FC St. Pauli in the German second tier to start. Most of the players are fairly young and you're expected to win promotion to the Bundesliga after the team narrowly missing out the previous season. Transfer budget is only like 500k and the squad is fairly large.

I started unemployed previously, got a job in South Korea, set up all of my staff, tactics and training and I was 2-1 up in my first match and the game crashed - no save so I decided to start at a club with a bit more structure this time.

I cant get on with the UI of this, and all the white is hurting my eyes.

It does seem a bit all over the place to me, maybe it will just take some getting used to..

Agree with you on the white also, eyes are melting away.

Did SI say what is the difference between BETA and final? I mean something other than "it's not the finished product"? What will be the main difference? I've read somewhere that it's basically the same as the final version just without the online features. But I'm not sure if that's true.

Yeah apparently the network game is left out, so hopefully that's where the main bugs are

Just made my pre-order, the final price was $26.00 which is not too much I guess. Still not sure whether or not I will try the beta version two weeks earlier, don't wanna ruin the experience before I get the final version.

But yeah, the official countdown starts today as far as I'm concerned.



I don't think there will be any major issues with the beta version.
