Nope do not have ‘option to add players to playable teams active’ ticked.
Guess that answers the question and will do so in future.
Had no players in U18 or U21 teams but when you have lower ranked facilities and youth development it matters not in the early days.
everything else was working well enough.

At the end of my promotion season I was asked if i wanted to set up a B team, Diest B to play lower league football. The team was created and players added to it BUT it never took place. MAYBE that caused the error as did it ADD one too many teams to that league? Should have said NO.
In other news, when you start the game at league 5 level you have no youth players.
By the way, appreciate all the effort made by yourself and other doing such stuff. I never play the top leagues and always try the smaller ones and lower league teams.

Was thinking, that this is the level that a standard FM24 Belgium game would kick in, given 3 tiers are available.
In my naive, know nothing state, was wondering if it was a clash.

Almost impossible to contact you.
Downloaded you Belgium database this week and played as league 5 team Diest in FM24. Two seasons of promotions and into Nationale on 1 july 25.
Cannot go past this point whether daily or simulation. Tried going back to an early save but same thing happens every time.
