Keep in mind that the way names are displayed was changed in FM15 by SI and that's exactly how it is supposed to look like - I don't see much wrong there tbh...

The forbidden names file was made by SI to ensure that names such as Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini etc etc are not possible in the game - nothing to do with this problem

I'm afraid I don't know what's wrong - could you upload a screenshot of your edt and lnc folders?

What is inside it? Can I attach them to a post?

For some reason, as of this year, there is a difference in how the club names are displayed in the club overview screen and the player squad screen. Can you upload a screenshot of both please?

Portuguese club names are severely restricting for editing due to licensing reasons so there's not much more I can do for the time being, I'm afraid.

Open the edt folder - is there a file named fake in there? If yes, then delete it.

Nothing with fake in it, there is something called forbidden names in the edt folder.

I re-downloaded the name fix and it seemed to work, I even had a report of the German manager watching a game between Tottenham and Wolfsburg, the problem is that the next round of international call ups has come and the German national team only has fake players. In my Inc folder I have Awards, city, club and stadium and competitions. Three files, in your reply you said I should have only three? I believe that the German national team should be with real players at the next call up after being applied? What am i doing wrong?

I downloaded it, it seems to work though I think an update has changed a few things, all the competitions seem to be alright, but I am going into the first international break and no one has been called up to the German national team. I have saved it just before they play, do I just need to re download the fix to get the German national team in? A few of the team names are also a little strange, Milan and not A.C I think, though I will have to check it again.
