I found another image of the logo which I was able to use to lift the castle image from. I used to trace tools in Inkscape to convert it to a vector. It's not the greatest but at 180px I don't think it's too bad.
The font is also a little off. It's not the exact font used in the badge but I think again at 180px it's not too noticeable. The numbers show it up the most.

Hi guys,

I've started something of a Sunderland revival career and I've just had a successful takeover and kept my job (woo!). So I was wanted to change up the club somewhat and wondered if anybody would be able to redesign the current badge with a newer one. Hopefully in a similar style to how the Man City now is. I do have one image that a SAFC fan site uses and wouldn't know if that would be of any use.

One thing I will say about this logo is that it's pretty busy with lots of small lines of text which when scaled down to 180x180px really don't show up very well. It all just kind of blends into one and other. It is accurate to the reference picture though so I'm guessing that's just the way it is.

Regarding the Hutchison Vale one. It's not a vector trace or my own vector work (I can't remember what site I found this file on now) but I've had this file for them on my hard drive and I used to make a 180x180px badge for the club. I noticed during my research that the team only seem to use the Hutchison Vale logo on the kit and not both; both logos only seem to appear on the goalkeepers kit from what I've seen. Don't know if it'll be of any use but this one is about 500px and in fairly decent quality. I'll link it below anyway. Let me know what you think. It's an odd situation with the club having two crests.

Whilst I'm happy to help, I think we should stick to logos which are currently in use. I think it's more beneficial to the FM community to restore current logos which are only available in poor quality than doing historical logos.

That's actually not that a bad quality logo right off the bat but here is 1000px one anyway. I would probably just have done some Photoshop jiggery-pokery to that to remove the drop shadow etc and rescaled it to 180x180px for a standard logo.

Did a bit of research on this one and after finding the clubs facebook page, I could only find the logo with the colours the other way round; black on red.

Here's the restoration. If you'd like the colours inverted to the way your source image is, let me know, it's easily changed over.

One point to note, I used the outline of Kosovo from the flag, which has a very slightly different outline to the one used in the badge. At FM resolution though I thought the difference would be negligible.

I thought you might check if logos of your making are in the pack after you said you were downloading it. You clearly have talent, so if there are more logos coming and they find their way into the pack, I will add your name on the acknowledgements list.

I hope you will find them apt for the purpose this time as well.

Much of the work to make the new pack has gone to replacing obsolete logos, so what is going for 18v1 is that it should be reasonably well up to date.

Downloaded them and fair to say I'll be using these again this year. Awesome to see a couple of my redrawn logo's made the grade for the pack as well.

Super thrilled to be part of it.
