#709064 Is SortItOutSI still Susie?

He was a Romanian striker who had like 19 finishing on FM2004 or somewhere in that era. You could buy him for around a million quid and he scored for fun. It was kind of interesting because FM unearthed a bunch of good Romanian players that subsequently moved to Italy, France, across Europe, and the UK - there was a defender (can't remember his name) who signed for West Brom (?) that was Romanian and he was a favorite of mine around that time in FM.
Mazilu was special. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ionu%C8%9B_Mazilu

Oh Maziuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu - what an epic scoring machine on FM SomethingSomethingALongTimeAgo. I think that's actually an Eagles song. Good to see ya mate even if it's just a forum 🙂

I asked an older prominent YouTuber once if they used to be on Susie and they said ‘what the hell is susie?’ I think it was Loki Doki. I joined originally I think back in 2004 or 2005 and have quit like 900 times and then came back. Even was on “staff” for a while but it will always be susie to me.
PS - nice seeing names I recognize like Poe still hanging about. Cheers to all.
This might be my first post in years 😀

#404216 New Save Advice

Depending how much your PC can handle - I would say Greece (obviously), Turkey, Serbia, Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Germany and then optionally the following: Brazil, Argentina, Holland, England, Scotland, France, Belgium
I had a really good save with AEK (? I think) a couple of versions ago. If you can plumb a couple of Brazilian WK you can at get in Europe pretty regularly and make some good profit.

I think it's a tactic thing...my tactics from last year didn't work at all. I found out that if you use certain aspects in your tactic including being more disciplined your play (particularly at the back) was much better. Like VP I did an Arsenal save and got the following results:
Biggest signing was Icardi who had a nice season (34 goals in all comps). Rest of the team was mostly the same.
Here are the tactic instructions I use -

so far things are going very well...
Also to the fourth round of the Norgesmesterskap Frisk Forsikring Cup after dispatching of Rosenborg in the 3rd round.
Surprise star has been Henri Anier with 9 goals in 8 matches....the crazy part being he has come off the bench for five of those and seems to be the most effective that way. Orlando Gaona Lugo has added 6 and 4 assists cutting in from the right as an Inside forward. His pace leaves most fullbacks flat-footed. I imagine bigger clubs will eventually come a calling for him.

Decent looking fullback
Deep lying playmaker who can play out wide or up top..love guys that can play all over
Pacey strikers works well in my my 433 system (see Craig Sutherland at Oxford) so I have high hopes
Young and defensive minded - hope he develops
Scouts rated him pretty high - he is young and I'm sure a future Icelandic international
Solid left fullback
veteran leader in defense a regular for the Albanian National Team

Sutherland had gained the attention of Everton and was sold off for a decent fee so I had a little bit of money to work with (about 400k) and Nick Phinn was bundled to Bristol City for another 100k

2 pts from the opening fixtures saw my position under threat from new ownership....ungrateful bastards would still be slinging mud in League Two if not for me...so I quit.
I didn't want to stay in England and not long after I got an offer to manage in Norway's top division at Viking F.K. with dreams of Europe dancing in my head I accepted. With only 8 matches left in their season they were sitting in 12th place...
Striker Jo Sondre Aas was just returning from injury and finished off the season with a nice run ending in 7th place.
