#844215 New Mod Fixes Training in Football Manager 2024

This is not what I thought it was. I generally do tinker and adjust my training schedules. The video on YouTube was a little misleading IMO about the ‘bugged’ training. Of course, the schedule changes, and you need to adjust your training in accordance with it. FM not being smart enough to correctly adjust your custom training schedule when the game schedule changes is not really a bug, but rather a limitation. It's misleading to call it a bug.

Anyway, I was an idiot and did not back up the original training.fmf file. I would like to restore the original file. Does anyone have any idea how to do that other than reinstalling or repairing the game files?

The thing is, every file is prefixed with Classic FM in the Classic FM update. There should be an option to download the regular free data update.

Nevermind this.

The Classic FM is just the normal one with extras so you can just disabled the extras when starting a new save. They should be prefixed with “Classic FM”

Instructions

Open up FM and click “Start a new game”.

In the top right you should see a dropdown box labelled something like 24.0.0 or 24.3.0 depending on what game version you're using.

Click this and you should see a pop up showing all the “fmf” files you just put in your “editor data” folder.

Untick any that say “Classic FM” at the start.

Thanks

If I'm subscribed to Classic FM, how do I get the regular free data update instead of the Classic FM update? The data update page defaults to Classic FM for me, I don't want to lose my remaining Classic FM subscription either. This is my first post on here, apologies if I'm not following any rules/protocols/ethics.
