I was supposed to go out cycling at 9 in the morning, but my room-mates decided to hold a party after they came home from town.. Couldn't sleep so playing Football Manager now and a guy is beside me smoking a joint. Not cool. Been out the last two nights so after tonight my sleeping pattern is going to be soooo fucked up. Not going to enjoy college next week!!

Get off your fucking pedestal.

Didn't mean to sound like a dick sorry. If you're happy not exercising then don't. But I was just trying to say that it makes you feel a whole lot better most of the time.

Didn't do too badly in the fitness test, beat both the people on the first one, and wasn't far off on a couple more.

The one plus I took is that I've barely put on any fat while not doing exercise. My stamina is rubbish atm though.

They appear in most videos as well if not all so that's brilliant bud. Are you going to do the full 60 days as planned out? I quickly realized I wouldn't be able to stick to the calender, so I just pick out whichever ones I want to do. Done a good few of the max videos recently, and I like the Insanse Abs vid and pure cardio too. I've his new training videos as well, the t25's. They're workouts that last just 25 min but no breaks. Equally as effective!

Easy. Working out is boring as fuck.

No its just laziness. If you think its boring it might help if you played loud music, that's what I used to do. But with these Insanity workouts Shaun T motivates you and others are doing it too so that makes it a lot easier. Plus I feel so much better since I started doing all this exercise. I'll have my bike back with me tomorrow (In college so its a pain bringing up and down every weekend) so hopefully I'll get some extra hours in. Want to start swimming as well with the aim to try do a triathlon next summer!

Not really done any exercise and have just drank, smoked and eaten shite since a leg break a few years back, I've decided to finally do something about it. Started Insanity today, knackered now.

Wait until you get to the max circuits and plyo and those. Body be in bits but it's well worth it!!!

Pretty much what my ride to Paris was like for Help for Heroes, took 300 euro's for 4 days and spent it all on beer

Is that the London to Paris ride in July? I've seen an ad or something for it, soooo tempted to do it but I'll more than likely be working!! Really want to start racing after the Winter as well, do you know anything about interval training? Seems to be the new method of bike training these days.

Pub I used to work in do a cycle from Galway to Dublin every year (usually in April) for Crumlin Children's Hospital, just in case you're looking for something similar

Yeah? I'm in college in Galway so that would be very handy. What's the name of the pub?

Recently did a sportive cycle from Dublin to Ventry in Kerry (Like 5 min drive from where I live) for charity. Just over 400km in 3 days. Brilliant couple of days! When we warn't on the bike we were having beers, so it was more like a piss up than anything else ha. Had a weeks rest from the bike but dying to get back into action again!

You'll probably need a bigger stick, as an 8GB never has quite that much storage. Go for a 16GB just to be safe.

I did just that, awesome awesome game.

OK, I got the USB stick to work. The box says its a 8GB stick, yet when it appears on my x-box it says it only has 7GB? This is so irritating.

Stupid question, but where does it go? I presume into one of the memory card slots, right?

Bought it today, and turns out I can't install it because I don't have enough memory. Never felt so downhearted before in my life. Will a new memory card do the trick or will I have to buy a hard drive?

I used to be incredibly unfit, but ever since I got my racing bike its just totally changed me. Legs are after getting way bigger, nowhere near as pale as I was before, and I'm much more healthier and I haven't been sick in ages whereas before I was sick quite frequently. I try do about 200km a week, on top of my insanity workout. Really focusing on my core, and the results I've seen already are brilliant. For example, I did a 70km cycle on Sunday at nearly 30kph (Albeit I was riding in a group) and this evening I did nearly 60km at just over 28kph on my own, which I'm obviously delighted with. Still a lot more improvement needed, but I'm getting there. Slowly but surely!!

Very very lucky to get a point. Non existent after 55 odd minutes. If that was on FM and if I was managing Swansea I'd have thrown the laptop out the window!! Not impressed with Sahko either. I know it was his first game, but Rodgers needs to tell him to settle down. Jumped in with some wild rash tackles for no reason whatsoever a few times.

What is it you're trying to achieve?

Are you looking to get bigger or just get fitter?

Well I'm fit enough already, but I'm really only attempting the challenge to get a stronger core. Like, Insanity goes on for 60 days, but I won't be doing it everyday for 60 days. I'll just do it whenever I can tbh. I've college starting soon so I won't have time anyways. I'm quite a light person so I see myself more as a climber on the bike. A stronger core would help me immensely when I'm climbing.

Has anyone done the Insanity workout? It runs for 60 days, and judging by photo's and what people say it totally transforms your body.

Now since I started cycling I've gotten much fitter and my leg's have gotten much stronger, but upper body I don't have much to show off. Havn't been arsed to do any core work but this Insanity programme looks decent.

Gonna be working all summer, had to cancel my holiday to France in August with my uncle and his family. But after the summer, like in September or October I wanna go away myself for a week or 10 days or something. Just me and my bike. I was thinking Sicily, would love to study more about the Sicilian Mafia and cycle a bit out there.

Anyone else recommend like a cycling/historic spot? Preferably somewhere warm and sunny because I'm tired of the rain/wind shit weather here.

Been doing alot more climbing out on rides recently and really been enjoying it, can feel myself getting faster on them, set like 6 PB's on climbs during todays ride.

Also stopped to take some photos a couple of times for a change, i know most people hate on the place they live but tbh i love it round here.

Same , did a category 2 on Saturday and Monday. Think I did it in 34 mins or so on Saturday and like 29 mins on Monday, so I knocked like 5 mins off in 2 days , delighted Would be sooo much fitter if I didn't have such a shit diet.

Btw , has anyone here done the Insanity workout before?

Enjoying watching cycle way more now since I started myself. Tour so far has been really exciting seeing the highlights for stages 1 and 2. Still can't believe the dog avoided the peloton near the finish of stage 2, his burst of pace to avoid them was amazing otherwise he would have been mince meat. Also can't believe that before 2004 cyclists had a choice if they wanted to wear a helmet or not. Speeds they do are crazy not sure how more riders in the past didn't die when they fell!

Got bad sunstroke on my back. Doesn't help that I'm right in the middle of my exams. Pumping myself with painkillers to get through the exams. Hoping the people that correct them take pity on me. Actually had to leave half through my Maths exam yesterday and take a shower in the school dressing rooms. Went through a life time of suffering! Definitely failed Maths paper 2 , but hopefully I did OK in paper 1. Got a letter from the doctor and the school principal said he'll put that into my exams so they be not mark me as tough as they're supposed too. Exam tomorrow (history) and then I'm off till Monday. So hopefully it should be less itchy by then.

*facepalm*

What do you think?

I obviously think its a scam. Even a retard would come to that conclusion. But I've read pieces where some people have said they've made money. So was just wondering if anyone had invested or had problems etc doesn't hurt to ask ya know

Are any of you guys in with Banners Broker? Friend of mine was talking about it today at school so I said I'd go have a quick research into it. Googled it and all I've been reading is people complaining about it and what a massive scam it is. is all this true or do you actually make money?
