With the default version of FM when you come in in 2023, Bochum don't have a II club at all which is accurate to real life at that point. They just reintroduced their II club at the start of this ongoing season. So yeah, I guess the issue is that you have a load of players on the squad who have been newly added in the data update, but the II team isn't there in FM for them to actually play in. I hope that makes sense?

Was doing an unemployed journeyman with this data update. End of year 3 and I've just taken the VfL Bochum job and have noticed a big issue. I'm greeted with a first team squad of literally 60 players, mostly 19-22 year olds all signed on cheap long term contracts. This is because at the start of the 2024-25 season Bochum newly formed a 2nd team, but the game only has them with a 1st team and a U19 side. Of course all the players that play for their II team in real life have been put in, as they should be, but there's no actual II team for them to play in. Idk if this is fixable because right now it's obviously pretty awkward having a load of random young dudes just chilling in the squad with no team to play in.
