Is it an empty file (File size = 0B)? After I put it in the editor data folder, I cannot see it when loading the database.

@om3ga  The new players are no longer in the “new players.fmf” file they are in the “changes” file this allows us to publish new players daily rather than every few months as before.

 

 “new players.fmf” is empty, it only exists is to overwrite previous ones so people don't accidentally wind up with two files and get duplicates. It's easier to include an empty file like this than ask thousands of people to remember to delete a file.

 

People shouldn't get duplicates unless they are using a new players file from another update and i'm not aware of any reason why that should be necessary.

 

But i'm happy to listen to feedback and alternative ideas if people are able to explain in detail what they are trying to do, why and how it can be incorporated into our update without affecting everyone else 🙂

 

Could you please create another version that separates the new players from the other changes? While I appreciate your efforts, I believe the random and inaccurate data for the new players is negatively impacting the playing experience and diminishing the sense of realism. I’d prefer to maintain the original approach.
