Could of been a pre-programmed loan repayment or just "hidden costs" that are set to go out at a certain time.

Or possibly someones been embezzling from the club coffers!

In the end i sold Naismith and brought in Matt Upson as a stop gap defender for the year, Simao as an extra DM - Anchor and loaned Fabio for R/LB and used the rest to bring in Jack Butland as a long term GK, oh and i'm hoping to get Nico Gaitan on loan

I missed out on Bocchetti but i've made an offer for Simao.

I was looking to see if i could get Jadson from Botofogo to replace Fellani and use the remaining funds to get a few other younger players in but Tottenham were the only ones willing to pay £30m for him but they pulled out so i might get Simao and a cheap defender and leave it at that, oh i got Fabio on Loan from Man Utd as cover / competition at RB.

So having brought the games last week, when i got a new computer i decided to make my first save with a team in the Premiership with a decent squad and potential to grow and so Everton is were i choose to go!

Now I don't know how to get the pictures out of the game and post them on to here so i'll just have to type everything for now and add them later.

Season 1

Transfers In:

Wellington Nem, Adryan, Ruben Y Jenssen, Ademilson, Raul Albiol (Loan), Jonathan (Loan), Marc Albrighton (Loan), Craig Gordon (Free), Owen Hargreaves (Free)

Transfers Out:

Steven Pienaar, Darron Bibson, Maguye Gueye, Tony Hibbert, Victor Anichebe

Competition Results:

Premier League - 9th
FA Cup - 5th Round
League Cup - 4th Round

Didn't too brilliantly first season, mainly due to not really understanding how much scouting the opposition tactics, players and using the media can help.

As the title suggests, should I sell the walking 70s microphone and invest the money in other areas of the team or should i keep him?

Oh I'm at the start of the second season

Hey all I'm just entering the second season on a Everton save I started and need some advice.

This is my formation and starting line up currently, you can't see it but Weiss is on the wing and Nem is in the AMLC position :

Howard (GK)

Coleman (FB-S) Heitinga (BPD-D) Jagielka (CD-D) Baines (FB-S)

Fellani (A-D)

Adryan / RY Jenssen (DLP-S) Miralles (W-A)

Weiss (W-A) W Nem (AP-S)

Jelavic (AP-A)

Not sure if you can see properly but its basically an asymmetrical 4-4-2, i finished 9th in the first season due to not really getting to grips with the tactics and what not but that besides the point i need new players for next season and i need some opinions and some advice on who to get.

Transfers In: I already have Ademilson as a cover for Jelavic and have Mattia Destro joining on July 1st, plus with Miralles and Nem able to play upfront i should be fine, but i do need cover / better players for my midfield and i want to know about Gaston Ramirez. would anyone recommend him? Also i need another defender (at least 1), another Anchor man and a youngster who can play RB and LB.

Transfers Out: I'm gonna wait for my budget to be set before tying to by anyone else but depending on my budget i may have to sell some players. I've already offloaded Gibson, Vellios, Osman, Hibbert, Anichebe, Pienaar and Gueye, I'm looking to ship out Naismith as well and i'm considering letting either Fellani or Baines go (only for £30M or more up front), would anyone recommend this?

Any and all help is apprieciated

You could try Casemiro from Sao Paulo for your DM and Diego Renan from Cruzeiro as a LB and he's a great choice as he has decent stats, he's 21 and he can play as a RB WBLR and ML i believe so he provides cover for other areas as well as being a great first choice LB

Ah cool thanks for the replies people

As of yesterday i brought and new pc and downloaded FM13, I only had time to install it, start a new game and get 1 match in before i had to stop but it's good to know that the free kicks are at least another bow to add to the teams string. I really didn't like the free kicks on FM12 as rather than being able to play as a smaller / lower divisioned team with a decent free kick taker then you had a chance of getting goals when you lacked the quality to get many balls through to the strikers.

Also if anyones interested i shall be starting a career with Everton that will be posted from tomorrow onwards.

Yeah Pique was from Barcelona but he joined Man Utd at either 15 or 16, you can't say that at that age he didn't learn anything from being at Utd,

I understand that it isn't realistic for a player to score with every free kick but surely the probability should increase with having a higher stat

That's what I couldn't understand, free kicks used to be determined by the free kick and technique attribute but in recent games its just based on whether or not its your team taking it, if its you then it's either saved, over, wide or in the wall, if its the opposition then it could go in

Hey everyone, now I don't currently have the new FM game (gotta buy a new car in the next couple of days and then gonna get a new laptop and FM13) but I was wondering if SI have improved the Free Kicks in the game?

I ask this because I would like to know I there is any point in trying to sign a set piece (specifically free kick) expert as I know that it is almost impossible to score a free kick in FM12 as I completed a season earlier tonight and scored 0 direct free kicks all year with a taker of 19 and 18 and yet Liverpool scored 4 when there highest taker was 17

Yeah i could but it isn't really that big a deal i just have felt for a number of releases that either Arsenal Youth players a too highly rated or the rest of the Premier League is underrated as it seems on almost all of the latest releases that the only Youth players worth getting are from Arsenal.

Hey guy's and gal's i've not got this version of FM yet but i was wondering about the potential ratings of players and after seeing that someone has already started a thread about it i'd thought i'd ask.

Basically i've noticed (and surely i can't be the only one) that in recent years (since at least FM09) that Arsenal have always had really high stats on the young players in their reserves compared to other teams with similar, if not better youth setups, and i'm just wondering if again they have a collection of overrated kids again.

PS: you can't say that Arsenal kids are all amazing a go on to be Premiership quality because they don't, half of the Premier Leauge is made up of former Man Utd youngsters - Ryan Shawcross, Darron Gibson, Danny Welbeck, Kieron Richardson, Phil Bardsley, Danny Simpson, Fraizer Campbell, Darren Fletcher, Wes Brwon, John O'Shea, Phil Neville, Tom Cleverley, Jonny Evans, plus some noteble others in the Championship and elsewhere, Including Champions League, World Cup adn Euro Cup winner Gerard Pique.

This is not a post stating that Man Utd players should be better rated than Arsenal, just to show some examples of discrepencies with Arsenals Youth compared to the rest of the league who have brought great players through as well.
