Maybe Moyes would argue that having a player like Baines, who is not only better than Evra, but also loyal to him, may be important in his step up. I mean, it's a win-win from the new manager's perspective, bringing in one of his own who would also actually improve the squad. Don't get me wrong, I have had a man-crush on Evra for a good while now, but with Buttner as back-up and Fabio returning from his loan, having both Evra and Baines seems unnecessary.

Basically, if Evra leaves, it means Everton have told Moyes that the Baines deal is on.

Fabregas is a box-to-box midfielder suited to the English game being played out wide or behind the striker. He has the passing, but he'd be wasted in the Xavi role, thought Iniesta would be the natural successor to that.

Respect him. He was once poor, and now is rich and is still a stingy miser that picks up loose change from the floor.

That's because Liverpool have had the resources to compete for trophies, you simpleton.

Liverpool fans. *facepalm*

Ha ha, your new manager has only outperformed our club with considerably less resources.

So, like the last season of Scrubs?

Sounds brilliant.

True.

Phil Jones apparently twatted Rooney in training today and left him needing stitches.

Seems unlikely, I imagine it was Rooney's fault.

On Parks it happened on the back end of season 2. Not season 5.
They also replaced Paul Schneider, who ended up being a pretty needless character (albeit a charming one).

Community was at its best when Jeff was the focus and the others backed him up with silliness. It's lost the plot now.

True, but it's essentially a new show with old characters now that there's a change in creative director and some of the backroom staff.

They've given themselves room to breath now. With Pierce gone, and Jeff being able to have story arcs outside of Greendale, you've got the potential to bring in two new regular characters. They tried that approach with Parks and Rec and it paid massive dividends for that show.

ESPN commentary is tragic. The lead commentator is forcing the issue of why a £24m player would have a weaker foot.

I believe it doesn't count for them.

No, the whole point is that they are changing the rules so that all teams have to be taxed the same, including Monaco's team, even though it is located in a tax haven.

And you really think you're getting Ronaldo or Bale?

No, but completely ruling out the idea that one of the biggest clubs in the world who have just completed some of the biggest sponsorship deals in the history of the industry aren't going to buy more than one player is even more fanciful.

Why do speak about the Ronaldo to United rumours as if there's actually any substance to them? Why would he leave Madrid when he's adored there and paid like a God? Would he really want to come back with Moyes as manager? Where are United going to stump up £80m to sign him back?

Perhaps I've missed something somewhere along the line but it all seems like a pipe dream to me.

Ronaldo isn't particularly adored by the hierarchy, and he has become a one-man scapegoat for any on-the-pitch failings in Madrid. Also, he wouldn't cost £80m if Real Madrid are as interested in Javier Hernandez as they have been in previous seasons. It's a highly unlikely transfer, but it's not as impossible as you're making out. He's got a massive attachment to United as well, it's not like rumours of Messi.

Martinez is the only realistic candidate that can prove he can produce exciting football on a shoestring budget, and I think his appointment could bring the best out of players like Mirallas, Pienaar and Barkley.

Nah some people are saying he's incredibly inconsistent and wouldn't be bothered if he went.

Rooney would be a huge loss to Man Utd.

Only if he's not replaced. If we got any one of Cristiano Ronaldo, Robert Lewandowski, Gareth Bale or Falcao, we'd actually be a quicker, stronger and more technically proficient side without him. The issue is whether or not we can get that sort of player in this window.

Love these assumptions about Bale, Ronaldo, Fellaini etc, you'll most likely end up with just Zaha

You really think that's going to happen?

We should sell him to Bayern, where he'll be confused, a fat fish out of water and flop miserably. Hopefully.
